Based off what we know I'd give Kaine the win also. They are right. Kaine is infinitely more personable. Kaine just needs to stick to the script. Attack Pence on his record and tie him directly to Donald Trump. Make him defend Donald and all the shit he's said.

Kaine will be awkward, Pence will be on defense. No news will be made. It'll be a relative draw but the media will call it a narrow Pence victory because he was able to provide a mediocre defense of Trump to "stop the bleeding".
