People on Bernies Reddit thing are talking about crowd funding exit polls. Because why the hell not?

Also some college guys moved in down from me and named their wifi "Fortress of Solid Dudes." I am intrigued and entertained.

Fun fact voter turn % wise: 18-29 represented more of the electorate in 84 electing Reagan (23%) than they did on 08 electing Obama (18%)

18-29 was the second smallest turn out in terms of % of electorate beating only 65+ by 2%

They went up to 19 in 2012 and still represented the 2nd smallest after 65+ this time beating them by 3%



Youth turnout in terms of percentage of electorate was actually also hire in 92 and was close to 08 numbers in 96,00 and 04 with 17%

Youth vote is historically always low

Party pays for primaries, caucuses if they occur do not impart delegates and are paid for by the state party. they happen in clusters of 5 states over say, 3 months. the clusters are randomized each election so no one state always goes early all the time and they are not constantly trying to out jockey each other for standing.
It can be like the NBA draft so the closer to first you are one time the less draws you get on the next cycle.

On primaries youth turn out: In NY was 14% beating 08 and 00's record of 12%

In 08 that 12% turnout was good for 15% of the electorate

In 2016 despite turnout being up the total youth percentage of the electorate stayed at 15%

Fact is if Sanders had gotten youth to come out in full force Sanders would have had an honest to god shot at winning...but he hasn't because they don't. Even record numbers still peg them as still low turnout overall

There is no Nazi New Roman, at least not in the sense you present it. The typeface is based on Tannenberg Fett.

I don't think he could have had a decent shot it he couldn't have done better among older voters. Some places may have flipped but I think his problems with people of color and Democrats was the real nail in his coffin

True. But youth make up about 33% or something of potential voters. He'd have at least made it interesting. Which I mean thank god he didn't lol.

Moral if the story though is you can't win with the youth vote as your main base.

I'd be extremely pissed if the DNC actually caved to angry Reddit mobs. Yeah, plenty of people dislike her, but none of this would have come up without Sanders people pushing it lately. If her primary opponent somehow wins he'll be the first-ever Gamergate representative to congress. Though I haven't researched the man, that's his base of support. She's too into the fundraising at this point for the party, anyway, and a change would be disruptive. Star over with someone new after the inauguration, please.

And damn those New Mexico protestors. No need to smash up police property. That's an automatic red flag for actual violence and removes anything at all close to a political message. Would be preferable to smash up nothing at all, mind you, but you and whatever movement you're trying to make via whatever statement you're trying to make look like shit if you deliberately antagonize law enforcement.

Twitch is owned by Amazon, not Time Warner. Search tells me Twitch and TBS have a deal to create esports content, yes.
