While watching Trump call Elizabeth Warren Pocahantas my mom responded "Ya, well, you're Fuckahantas" and then she laughed for five minutes....and wanted me to tell all my gay friends.

So, consider yourselves told?

Fuckorina and Fuckahontas. I'm sensing a theme in here

Look, we're not going to put "Fuckorina" on the same level as "Fuckahontas."

You comin' for my mom brah!?

Seriously asking. I can have her shit packed up and ready to go whenever you get here.

I showed my mom that Trump tweet thing. Her response was not safe for life.

It's a valid question though. Does Trump have an orange cock? I'm not saying he does. I don't know. But it's a question that should be answered. Who knows. I don't know.

A good article about how Clinton's camp hasn't settled on their Trump narrative yet and why Warren's way of attacking him is the way to go. I really hope they settle on one soon and define him early and often. Throwing everything will just dilute the message and you end up like sashaying away like Thorgy Thor.

I agree with both points of this article -- that the Clinton campaign is having a hard time defining Hillary AND Trump.

The guys on the Keepin' it 1600 podcast touched on this a few episodes ago: that Trump is going to be very hard to define because every day he's going to present you with a new idiotic thing to attack him on. It's going to be hard to pick a narrative and stick with it because Trump provides you with SO MANY narratives. Personally, I think they should stick with Trump being a failed businessman with who'll bankrupt the country. it goes to the core of his appeal, and riles him up the most.

As for the Queen...I don't know how I'd define her. She's a policy wonk through and through, and she lacks pet issue that lends itself to an easily digestible thesis statement (there's her work for kids and women...but I don't know if that would do it).

80's Madonna was a complete musical revolution. 90's Madonna was on a decline but still very good. 00's Madonna was eugh. Rest is just avoidable.

LOL - Damn, Rachel Maddow doing a great job ripping apart how fucking stupid the system Hillary was supposed to have followed regarding her emails is.

She was really expected to print out and store EVERY email she sent and received. Damn ridiculous.

This HRC email scandal is a big fat joke. Just seen the printing and filing segment on Rachel's show and Colin Powell did the same thing as Hillary but he didn't give the DOJ not a single piece of email. I don't hear an outrage about his emails all this years.

Is that external emails only? Or does it include emails sent to her state.gov address?

He may moderate a few views — think Muslims — but he won’t and doesn’t need to back down on anything. He probably won’t pick a woman or a member of a minority group as a running mate because that would be “pandering.”

You know, Putin must be terrible at being a dictator if he hired this guy to help him in Ukraine. Manafort has the political savvy of Terri Schiavo circa 2005.

While this e-mail thing certainly doesn't help her, I still think it's far too complicated of an issue to frame and attack her on to turn people who weren't already against her against her. With Benghazi, it's a pretty simple narrative to say Hilary lied, Americans died or some crap , but there have been no functional consequences to having that private email server

People say this about every issue that comes, but when you string them all together it makes for a very damaged candidate. She pretty much needs Sanders or Biden as her running mate at this point. It won't get better.

I agree. It's too complicated an issue for Hillary to effectively explain away, but it doesn't make for an easy attack either.

I agree with Rachel's opinion on this. If anything, this scandal only shows how ass-backward and slow to adopt our government is when it comes to technology. That heads of state departments were honestly expected to print and store EVERY job-related email sent or received seems to hail from a time when emails were treated as electronic letters sent from a desk, and not primary methods of communication that people could quickly shoot off from their Blackberries like text messages.

I mean, most of Hillary's emails that I've read were just one or two lines long. Can you imagine having to print and catalog all of that. Incredibly dumb system.

Hillary didn't do anything wrong! Others did the same! Aside from lowering the bar for leadership, TELL THAT TO THE FBI. Indictments soon...

Paul Manafort's guys are getting fired by Trump as Manafort continues to lose a power struggle against fucking Corey Lewandowski.

How much of a scrub is Putin if he hires people that get outmaneuvered by Corey Lewandowski.

I would respect Hillary a hell of a lot less if she panicked and picked Bernie as her VP.

Thank god Manafort seems to losing this war, he's legit dangerous.

I would respect both of them a lot less. Bernie for partnering up with "the establishment" and Hillary for giving into a sore loser

It's not panic if she agrees to it because she feels it's the right thing to do.

Those of you thinking a Warren/Clinton ticket would be great are excessively optimistic. If she picks Warren, the poll numbers in the following days will prove it's a bad choice, probably fatal for her campaign.

What I''m saying is that barring an indictment, I don't think it will tip the scales for anyone who actually is undecided at this point between Clinton and Trump. If it was someone like Kasich, I could see where it might matter.

My mom is a die hard Berner and uses the email scandal as justification of why she hates Hillary. When she asked me about why Clinton should get a pass for failing to follow the internal rules of the agency, I said that she shouldn't provided Powell, Rice, Holder, Johnson, Hagel, Carter, Kerry, and the hundreds of White House staffers (including Karl Rove) are held accountable for doing the exact same thing. The hypocrisy on this is just so staggering to me especially considering the only retort offered by journalists and the GOP is an unironic "well those people aren't running for president". It really is baffling that the Clinton team and the Democrats in general aren't CONSTANLY bringing up the Bush email scandal during every interview considering it had the closest parallel to what Clinton did (the fucking RNC housed and hosted the servers for them!!!!!!). Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck.

Who are these people that are okay with voting for a woman for president but not okay with a woman as vice president too? Who are these people

Are you kidding? To quote Garth Turner "you don’t get to 40% in nationals just appealing to people who think their cousin’s hot".

On top of that, the real problem is Warren is a loud-mouth and the average joe is looking for any excuse to hate Hillary, it's the cool thing to say "I don't trust her", just like so many old white would say Obama was horrible without being able to say why. It all piles up. Hillary needs someone people like and trust to balance things out. People will love to hate Warren just like they love to hate Hillary. It would be a catastrophic choice.
