Is it too much to act with a little decorum? Is it too much to ask for you not to threaten people's lives? We're better than this I believe.

The attacks I get from Sanders's supporters seem to fall far short of those received by women reporters from what I'm reading.

Hmmmm

Anyone thinks Kennedy will step down if Hillary wins?

He's said he's pushing off retirement under Obama to wait for a pro life POTUS. But if she wins it might not happen for him

I think he will wait until her second term at the earliest, just in case theres a chance she would lose reelection.

The State Department said it would take 75 years for the release of emails from top aides to Hillary Clinton from during her time as secretary of State.

Lawyers said it would take that long to compile the 450,000 pages of records from former Clinton aides Cheryl Mills, Jacob Sullivan and Patrick Kennedy, according to a court filing from last week, which was first reported by CNN.

"Given the Department's current [Freedom of Information Act] workload and the complexity of these documents, it can process about 500 pages a month, meaning it would take approximately 16-and-2/3 years to complete the review of the Mills documents, 33-and-1/3 years to finish the review of the Sullivan documents, and 25 years to wrap up the review of the Kennedy documents — or 75 years in total," the State Department said in the filing.
The 18th term curse strikes again.

Thanks. I did hear that one; thought something else may have happened. By the way, anecdotal impressions (military), Trump is fairly popular with the older troops (overwhelmingly white) and dead in the water with the less than 30 crowd from all races.

That's pretty interesting actually. After Trump's comments about McCain and other vets, I might have expected the opposite. Popular amongst the younger guys but dead in the water amongst the older vets.

But anyways, hope your deployment goes well, stay safe and thank you for your service :)

Someone is stepping down in 2017 either way i'd suspect.

Kennedy was clearly desperate to write the opinion making gay marriage legal and some court observers think he really enjoys being the swing vote. If a liberal gets confirmed that wouldn't be the case. Who knows what he does at that point? Electing Clinton offers the potential of one of the most progressive Supreme Courts in history, which is what people should focus on.

Honestly, that's pretty fascinating. I would have expected mostly Trump from the military regardless of age. Good to hear.

“Speaker Ryan has apparently switched positions and is now supporting identity politics, which is racist. I mean, I am astonished, astonished,” Lord said. “I am accusing anybody, anybody, who believes in identity politics, which he apparently now does, of playing the race card. The Republican establishment is playing this. Senator [Mitch] McConnell is playing this. These people have run and hid and borrowed the Democratic agenda of playing the race card.”

Apparently Obama isn't endorsing Hillary this week? His fundraiser on Wednesday, he assures us, has nothing to do with Hillary.

Or is this just made up junk from Bernie fans. I always have a hard time telling.

A Trump versus Sanders race would be more even in Idaho, according to the poll, with 43 percent of respondents saying they'd vote for Sanders and 46 percent saying they'd vote for Trump.
Superdelegates you can still save this.

It is quite fascinating hearing Republican officials actually call something someone said racist.

They didn't even do that with the Muslim ban proposal.

Absolutely, we have one open seat, and three judges ages 77-83 who are close to retirement. This is probably the most important election in a long time.

I think the rumor still is this week. He's in NY all week and does Fallon on Thursday. At the latest this Friday, I'd bet.

How Lame Is Hillary Clinton?
This lame: She is defending her vote in favor of a bankruptcy bill that the left doesn’t like by blaming Joe Biden. The Wall Street Journal reports:

Hillary Clinton defended her vote for a controversial bankruptcy bill reviled by the left on Thursday, and said she did so at the insistence of then-Sen. Joe Biden.

Clinton was asked about this vote during a conversation with a citizen at a New Hampshire. She responded:

I negotiated [some] changes and then the people who had been handling the bill said, ‘Well if we take your changes you have to support it.’ That’s the way the Senate works. And so I said ‘It’s really important to me that we don’t hurt women and children, so I will support it even though there are other things I don’t like in it.’
For some reason the title of this article spoke to me

The judge attack line, is perhaps the most fascist thing he has done.
But, the majority of the Republican stupid fucks are on the record either saying they would vote or support him.

You have to draw a line somewhere and stick by it.

Now, I don’t know if Hillary Clinton will get the nomination — I still believe a Joe Biden-Elizabeth Warren ticket looms possible. But regardless of whom, there’s a mentality that the individual rights of Americans are subservient to the ideological agenda of progressive socialists. That in its purest analysis is un-American — yet it’s happening. The liberal left wants control. They want subjects. They will tell every state it must marry people of the same sex because that is an accepted behavior for them. But they’ll tell you, a law-abiding legal gun owner that you mean nothing, you have no rights.

And this, along with onerous taxation, is how the Revolutionary War got started — those rascal Redcoats were going to confiscate guns. History certainly has a way of repeating itself!
Allen West is all the confirmation I need.

FUCK. Disarray. Airlift Biden into the convention. Mess.

*splort*

I gotta go change my underwear. I realize that 32% is a long way from winning, but goddamn if I can't dream of my state getting a little less red. As best as I can tell, the population growth in my state is all here in the Boise/Meridian area, and we only seem to be getting more liberal. It won't happen in 2016, or even 2028, but someday we'll get there. The fun part here is that the Boise area was massively in favor of Bernie, so a large number of undecideds here could break towards Hillary after Bernie gets out of the race.

I just voted for whomever was beneath Hillary (on the ticket, not like in the ground like Vince foster) so imagine being under trump would be bad.

I'm gonna enjoy the ll tea party's own Dolchstoßlegende against all these people on the right distancing themselves from trump in the coming years.

For Republicans like Mark Kirk who un-endorse Trump, it makes me wonder how badly they'll lose this election. On one hand, liberals and moderates wont vote for them because they are still associated with Trump because they are Republicans. On the other, Trump may attack them and tell his voters not to vote for them, further decreasing their vote share.

I wonder if trump being on the republican ticket will depress the republican's vote share even in strong republican states like Idaho and Utah in this election cycle. Instead of a state like Idaho being won by the republicans 65%-33% it may be won by the republicans 58%-40% in this election cycle.I don't think this will apply to a state like WV in this election cycle.

If only the nominee were a thin skinned highly reactionary narcissistic sociopath.....he is going to go after anyone who takes back their endorsement with no remorse.

BREAKING: U.S. Senate Republican leader McConnell says it's time for Trump to stop attacking various minority groups
heheheheh
I guess I don't understand this at all. Isn't the cat out of the bag? Like, if Trump stops attacking minority groups...so what? Are they going to simply forget that he's racist? Are white folks supposed to forget that he said this racist shit and probably believes in it?

Honestly, the GOP's best hope is Trump continually doubles down on this to the point that they say enough and contest the convention. This is going to linger and fester and I don't see how it ever gets better.

Why anyone would want to vote for Nancy Pelosi is beyond me. Let alone be excited about the opportunity to vote for her in a primary.

If they even try to contest the convention if trump continues to act this way they will piss of his supporters and do worse than expected in the general. They are going to have to stick with trump until the General Election.
