took me 30 hours in total to beat binding of isaac for the 9th time

Now after killing it lives, I had to unlock another ending or what?

God damn, it's happening again. Just like when they started injecting silly hats into my TF2. Do not want.
The thing for me is, I don't really mind the cards and badges thing since it seems nicely optional aside from filling up certain threads. But, when I look at my friends list I am reminded of how it worked when hat drops/idling started in TF2. A day or two ago I saw someone playing a game and I was like HEY WASSUP HOW U LIKE DAT GAME and they're like YO DAWG I AM JUST IDLING FOR THE BADGES and I'm like AWW OK.

Gone are the days when the few people who still play games on Steam are actually playing them so you can talk about the games. :p

Killing it lives opens up the Cathedral (white light) and Hell (normal hatch). Hell was the end to the original game and is now a dead end, but you can get some good items from finishing it with each character. The Cathedral is the new endgame added in the DLC. Won't spoil anymore than that. Have fun :D

Damn, just after I wrote a huge check, I see that Paradox games are on sale when I just watched a video about Mount and Blade: Warband and Napoleonic Wars. It looks a lot better than War of the Roses.

Games with big mod communities always kick ass too. Nice to see a Game of Thrones mod in the works.

shit, the FrankerZ emote now is sold at 10 dollars, at this point I think that you had more chances to get that emote with crafting the badge at level 10

Hey, I still play Steam games for the gaming, mostly.
I mean, I did the whole playing games for drops, but if it was a game I'd played before and I liked it, I just replayed it. Hell, I replayed Portal 2 and HL2 in their entirety, cleaned up some more chievos for others and am still working my way through Brütal Legend and Borderlands 2.

Haha I'm one of those people. We all changed our price to 10 at the same time. Looks like we already got undercut though.

people are getting too obnoxious with prices (and the card system)

I saw it as a funny way to collect things, but when you start bitching that you will lose money for something that technically you got free (I know that you paid for said game, but in the end, you never did it for the cards) is when I really start to hate the system

They they complaining or are they simply discussing a unique phenomenon and strategizing in view of where things could go?

Am I the only one who doesn't like Big Picture mode? It looks so... tacky.

Nope. Though I wouldn't say tacky but it has all the usual concessions that are made to accommodate a controller as a control and input device. Still as a plus point when it works taking screenshots with a pad is super handy.

Been doing a Bioshock run. I beat Infinite the other day, re-installed and replayed through pretty much all of the original Bioshock today, just have the final escort mission and bossfight to go through, and am currently installing Bioshock 2, which I've never played through.

Since Microsoft pretty much nuked the GFWL Marketplace from their own client, how easy or hard is it to obtain Minerva's Den? I've often read the DLC is pretty much the best part of Bioshock 2.

Your top ten game list makes no sense by the way.

Did you just idle in all of these games?

I find it hard to believe you played 450 hours of Skyrim, 400 hours of Chessmaster, 200 hours in both Indiana Jones adventure games.

You might as well wait a couple weeks and see what happens with Bioshock 2 updates on Steam Database.

It looks like they are, at the very least, adding in Steam achievements. Best case scenario, they are removing Securom and GFWL as well.

46 games with 100+ hours of playtime each, with that not being even close to the highest number, is unbelievable.

I accidentally left the launcher for DCUO open after playing around 30 mins of it and now it looks like I've put some meaningful time into that abomination :(

I'm sure but why call someone out on something like that for no reason when they ask for an invite? Seems kind of rude. Are you trying to publicly humiliate him?

I don't think he was trying to insult him, he's just pointing out weirdness in his game profile. And isn't that the point of having a profile, to draw attention to your gaming habits and activities?

edit: Like this dude http://steamcommunity.com/id/xelios with his 1793 games and Cave Story achievements what a weirdo

Time to delete your account.

Not trying to be rude at all, if it came off that way I apologize.

Just generally curious how that happened.

This is exactly right, I always check people's Steam profiles and see what games they enjoy.

It's okay I once asked someone why they played 100 hours of Blueberry Garden. They said they liked the music and played it while they slept.

I'm installing Bioshock 2 now and it's showing Steam Achievements on my library page.

Edit: There are even listings for Minerva's Den steam achievements. It's not on the store yet but it's gotta be coming soon.
