You should probably start with Hitman: Blood Money if you are looking for the 'authentic' experience that most people reference when talking about the series. The prior two titles are a bit rough around the edges, but if you are willing to put up with dated graphics and gameplay and awkward UI's the are still quite enjoyable.

Like comments that deride a game as 'trash', this isn't really a helpful or truthful assessment of Hitman: Absolution. The developers made great strides in making the UI and gameplay more intuitive compared to the previous titles, with some exceptions like magic pockets and holding down buttons to activate actions instead of a simple tap. The level design suffers compared to the previous games, but there are moments when the systems and theory behind Absolution coalesces and it absolutely shines.

Where is it ever even hinted at that she's mentally challenged? She just seems overly protected. No need to be the first to start a witch hunt for something that isn't even there.

I just bombed a phone interview a half-hour ago (been ages, said I was a "hardcore person" in reference to nothing, because nothing could just ever justify that line outside of sexual deviants), so these giveaways give me a reason not to willfully black out for the next week.

I didn't like any level from absolution. All are really cheap and corridors. It was very boring to play. "Go pass this zone, reach this door. Checkpoint."
Levels in previous games was a lot more open world and dynamic. Even the devs said that in the next Hitman game they are going to go back to the game roots.

Well many games on GOG - a few of which are on Steam - have bonus content outwith the game such as soundtracks, making of, art books and so on. Was just suggesting that for those debating the GOG or Steam release that there may be extras included on GOG.
