Super-slow-mo showing ear SSS from muzzle flash

Still some ugly sharpen-filter artefacts in the newer clips. Really hope there's an option to turn it off.

More concerned about the weird motion blur artifacting and the dithered shadows. I'm really curious to see some footage of the final game though since it's damn near impossible to parse what is actually "new" footage vs. old code or straight up several year old media being recycled for these little videos.

All the footage from the E3 demo is old + that one clip from psx 2014. The rest seems to be from a much newer build.

Still haven't watched any of these to keep me as naked as I can in the weeks closing in, lol. But I'm sure it will be technically robust.

I don't think I could be any more hyped for this game. Uncharted is my favorite game series I think ever. That is a strong position I've been playing games since way back on the Commodore 64.

Uncharted is like my Star Wars.

I'd honestly pay absurd amounts of money to have the 3 other Uncharted's remade with this tech they now have.

What was it again? Off-the-shelf notebook parts and diminishing returns something something?

Yup, a nice gif to demontrate a generational leap, just look at the lighting alone, it has that CG feel compared to how bland and flat the old Uncharted's lighting look, not to mention everything else like the huge jump in models, animation etc.

is it just me or do the graphics overall look sharper/better in those scenes we've already seen before

You inspired me to do a quick and dirty comparison between this footage and last year's E3 demo.

Obviously the contrast is much improved. I initially thought that was the only difference, but you can actually notice the addition of sea foam/white spots a bit above Nate's finger where the two boats are. This BTS clip does appear to actually be new footage.

Gotta love ND's polish and attention to detail.

The foam is there in both, just difficult to see in the E3 one because it's washed out. Honestly they are the same build.

Edit: I grabbed this from the Sam Pursuit gameplay

The game probably looks better in it's current state, but they are recycling a lot of old footage in these videos.

Whelp, my mistake then. I assume they released a "contrast-corrected" version of the E3 2015 footage, then? Because your cap appears to have the higher contrast shown in the BTS clip.

I think they just used the exact same footage from the E3 demo, this isn't from the final build.
