I enjoyed the "puzzle" of tossing a grenade in the hole and the little electric beam dodging section was entertaining. I was hoping the boss would involve similar stuff but it didn't seem to, just a bunch of changes to the arena that didn't affect the fight much.

This is basically exactly what I wanted from the new Strikes. Just enough mechanical differences to keep things interesting.

I haven't yet! Just did it once by selecting from the map. I'm glad to hear it gets tougher.

I was surprised to see that there's different variations of numerous strikes. The Taken show up sometimes, and sometimes they don't. It's pretty cool.

And defending the warsat on that strike on the hardest difficulty is a fucking nightmare.

Oh shit that's awesome. Specifically the perk that enables tracking for all rocket launchers. My first Exotic came from the same way. Killed a lowbie enemy, he dropped a purple engram and it turned into what is essentially Destiny's version of the Needler.

Trying to do the Path of the Bladedancer. In a strike you have to get three arc blade kills on majors. It's BS - in the 36 strikes you see maybe 5 the entire game and if you don't have a super or someone else kills them first, you're screwed

Thanks it's pretty cool. On turnin I got enough rep for another Legendary engram and turned out to be a purple Rocket Launcher so pretty coincidental lol.

I went in to Best Buy to buy 2 copies of the legendary edition and there were 2 other people there getting the console, and another console on the shelf for in store pick up. There were also 2 other people there buying standard copies of the game. I bet it sold a lot.

In Year One, Xûr was a community “loot drop,” a shared rallying point that everyone could cheer or curse. In Year Two, Xûr’s offerings have been changed so that he will select either a specific Exotic Weapon or an Exotic Engram for sale every week. This change is due primarily to our desire to give players more direct paths to acquiring the Exotics they want through Quests and gameplay experiences, and to avoid repetition in his inventory.

Xûr will also sell a new consumable, the Three of Coins, which gives bosses a chance to drop Exotic Engrams, including Weapon Engrams. These consumables have a cumulative luck effect, so even if one doesn’t net you a drop, the next one has a higher chance to do so.

Lastly, Xûr will also choose a Legacy Engram every week. These Engrams contain Year One Exotics (at Year One Attack and Defense levels) for players who want to finish up a Collection. They strongly bias towards Exotics not already in your Blueprint Collection, to help fill in the blank slots - excluding Mythoclast and Necrochasm, which are still only available from their Year One sources.

The Three of Coins just sounds like a bad idea. It'll just vastly increase the angst when the boss doesn't drop the exotic, even if it gets more likely as it screws you each week.

Thats the legendary edition. And none of the editions come with a season pass. Just Destiny, Dark Below, HoW, and Taken King.

Major is basically any wizard and any armored(yellow healthbar) knight for the hive enemies.

Made a quick video showing off the defensive abilities of the sword. It actually blocks a ton of incoming damage. At the end of the video you can see the new exotic Telesto and how I used it to send a Vex to Oryx to be recycled as a Taken.
