Would let Tony Parker sleep with his wife
In one of the first post at the start of the season, I said

Spurs in 5

They win all 4 rounds in 5

in the finals vs.

the Hawks

lockout happens and Duncan announces his retirement.

It's only fitting that he won his first ring the same year as a lockout and ends it with a ring...and a lockout.

How I got the
Hawks
is based on NBA2K. I had to play the Cavs in the Finals in 2K6. Pistons in 2K4. Last time I played through to the Finals was 2K9 and it was against
the Hawks.

So, Hollinger picking Heat over Lakers in the Finals, with OKC, Portland, and Miami winning as lower seeds along the way.

He missed all 4 finalists the last 2 years and last 3 champions. Kiss of Death?

By the time you get enough votes he will be only allowed to post in the off season thread cause the heat will be out of the playoffs.

or we even might be in the lock out situation.

Jazz are no longer in the position for Hollinger to predict Cavs over Jazz in the Finals for the millionth year in a row, that's kind of nice, no inflated expectations.

Executive committee did not take a straw poll on whether Maloofs have votes to move to Anaheim. Owners want time to digest Burkle proposal.

CBS 13's Steve Large: Maloofs clearly frustrated by Ron Burkle's emergence. One of them said Burkle can "go back where he came from."

I have little doubt that Maloofs are scrambling. Very surprising developments. Even if extension is granted, I think it'll be brief

No question in my mind that Ron Burkle's addition to the mix is a lit fuse tossed into the NBA boardroom. Very interesting development.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ranted-may-2-extension-to-file-for-relocation

Stern thinks NBA can support 3 teams in LA market. But you knew that already, or else the Anaheim thing would've died long ago.

Commish Stern says the Burkle ownership proposal is "not a high priority on our agenda" in considering Kings relocation to Anaheim

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...tern-addresses-relocation-ron-burkle-and-more

Stern said the NBA Board of Governors' relocation committee, headed by Oklahoma City owner Clay Bennett, will explore claims by Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson that he's mobilized millions of dollars in community support to sponsor the team and purchase season tickets.

L SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Lakers center Andrew Bynum says his troublesome right knee will be no trouble at all when Los Angeles opens the playoffs on Sunday.

"I'm fine," Bynum said. "I'll be all right. It's nothing that's not normal for me at this point."

Bynum participated in a full practice with the Lakers on Friday, just three days after hyperextending his right knee during their home finale against San Antonio. The Lakers feared disaster, given their shot-blocking defensive specialist's history of knee problems, but Bynum merely bruised a bone in his knee.

"He looked good, he looked normal," said Kobe Bryant.

...

Bynum says he'll be ready to go when second-seeded Los Angeles hosts the New Orleans Hornets in its first-round opener Sunday.

Bynum was limited by injuries each of the past two postseasons, but said he feels better this year than he did during either of those two title runs.

"I'm not frustrated at all, I'm actually excited," Bynum said. "I want to get the playoffs off and start winning games. We got 16 games to win. That's what we need."

Matt Barnes (sore right knee) and Ron Artest did not practice. Jackson said Artest hyperextended a knee against Sacramento, but did not reveal which knee was bothering the Lakers' starting small forward. Both players are probable to play in Sunday's Game 1 against the Hornets.

Steve Blake is still away from the team, recovering from chicken pox. Blake could be available for Game 2 on Wednesday, but his official status according to the team remains that he is out indefinitely.

While the rest of the Lakers players got together for a team dinner on Thursday night, Jackson visited Blake in his home to drop off a video edit of New Orleans' tendencies.

"He looks very speckled," said Jackson with a smile. "He's got a lot of poxes on him. He says he's feeling better. We hope that his recovery is rapid."

"Andrew's feeling good, Matt's feeling good, we got to get our little sick boy back and we should be fine," added Bryant.

Oh silly Phil!

Not liking the Artest thing, though.

I'm one of those asshole college-is-more-fulfilling-than-pro basketball fans--or at least I WAS, until that horrific NC game. Very pumped for these playoffs. Pretty agnostic on who I want to win--just looking forward to a ton of interesting matchups and storylines. I'm even kind of over loathing LeBron; if Miami wins, they'll probably have to earn it, which will reduce some of his bad karma.

Man, wtf, happened with Fringe? I haven't watched it since like the fifth episode, but I see a little every once and a while and now it's some cartoon thing with Spock?

The last time Miami won, they earned it by shooting nearly 60 more free throws than the other team.

I've been getting ass-raped by work lately so I wasn't able to catch the closing games or catch up on post season analysis, but what are the odds Lebron James wins this year's MVP award? The only other contenders stat-wise are Derrick Rose and Kevin Durant?

Touche. But I can't see the NBA affording the league's most hated team such a cushion. Who knows, though...

Rose will win and Dwight will come in 2nd. I think Kobe or Dirk get 3 & 4th with Lebron 5th. CP3 to follow and then Durant.

The odds are 0 for Lebron. Rose or Dwight won it.

And that isn't my ballot, that's how I think the votes will turn out. 1 & 2 I'm certain bout.

Lamar Odom admits he pondered quitting reality TV show
http://lakersblog.latimes.com/laker...admits-he-pondered-quitting-reality-show.html
Only three days into the filming process, Lakers forward Lamar Odom said, he became so frustrated with the time demands and pressures surrounding his reality television show with Khloe Kardashian that he wanted to end it.

"I thought it was going to be easy," Odom said recently on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show. "It's really tough. ... three days into it, I was like, 'Do we have to finish?'"

Kardashian squelched that idea, however, saying that it'd be logistically impossible to halt production and get out of their contract. Incidentally, it was Kardashian who initially shot down the idea of a reality show featuring the two newlyweds. She said she drew on her experience with "Keeping up with the Kardashians" in predicting that the show demands would prove too overwhelming.

"I just didn't want to put Lamar through that pressure," Kardashian said. "Lamar was like, 'Let's do it. Everyone keeps asking. Let's do it.'"

When word initially leaked out that they would do the show, Odom made it clear to reporters that he didn't make a definitive decision for some time because he wanted to make sure he could fit the project into a busy schedule without diluting his performance on the court

That hasn't been an issue as Odom enters the Lakers' first-round playoff series against New Orleans on Sunday as the team's most consistent player and its third-best scorer (14.4 points) and rebounder (8.7 rebounds). He's also in the running for the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year Award.

Odom's revelation that he wanted to quit isn't an example of him stretching himself too thin -- after all, things have worked out -- but it points to a recognition that sometimes it's better to say no and that less can be more.

I wonder how many shows they've got recorded already. It would suck if it affected his playoff performance, but then again, his best basketball occurred right after the all star break, and they started filming before that.

The terms of his pre-nup are insane. Khloe basically rapes him.

Darn, that does sound reasonable enough. The only way to troll Miami haters now is to actually win the damn championship.

They face the celtics in the second round, and the bulls in the ECF. I really can't see them winning both of those series.

Miami will see Orlando in the ECF in my opinion. Dwight should give them fits on the inside as well as make scoring a bit harder for Rose.

The details of the prenup are on the hush, but we hear that Khloe’s demands included a flat sum of about $500,000 for every year they were married in case of a divorce, $25,000 a month in general spousal support, their new house, a new luxury vehicle at the end of every lease cycle, $5,000 a month for shopping expenses, and $1,000 for beauty care.
What in the FUCK.

Was homie on Gummy Bear withdrawl?!

"It doesn't matter, Lamar, we'll be together forever anyway. Just sign it...."

That's not the true story and the real prenup details were revealed some time after that.

Anyway, Khloe is worth more money then Lamar. Her family made $70 million last year off of there crappy reality shows. That's before accounting for how much Robert Kardashian made as a defense lawyer for the rich.

The problem is, i don't think anyone else on the Orlando team will score. Dwight could go off for 60pts on 20 shots, and they'd still only put 65pts on the board. That Bulls D will make it hard to score, and the bulls have enough big bodies to keep throwing at dwight too.

I hope they're still filming Khloe and Lamar. I want to see her comfort him when the Lakers get eliminated and prom-prom to make it all better.

Sort of like how the C's prom-prom'd it wasn't going back to LA?

I hope the Maloofs get screwed but I don't see how Stern can force them to sell a business they own when technically he works for them, and it's not even slightly in his interest to side with Sacramento on this one. He wants cities terrified of losing their teams so they pony up for flashy arenas that increase his teams' values, which is basically what his job boils down to.

Sometimes it seems like the league could not give a shit less about looking credible.
