but SG is where he would really excel.

Could he make that transition easily though, he's so used to handling the ball and not so much moving without the ball?????

I don't expect him to ever be a shooting guard for this team but I wonder if it'd be a difficult adjustment.

because a SG is going to lead the NBA in dunks. I forgot that happens all the time.

Don't take Dream too seriously, I mean that had to be the sloppiest troll bait in the world. :/

Maybe he just needs some props.

We'll be sure to find a lowered Kia for him so he can jump over the bumper. And see if we can acquire a whole symphony orchestra while we're at it. Not that it has anything to do with dunking.

so much travel in one gif.

Once possibly but no refs call star players for the jumpstep.

But "so much" isn't surprising hyperbole from you because you called a bunch of people idiots for defending Joey Crawford when I can't see a single person doing so.

He started in 43% of his games this season. That award is always hilarious to me.
The only requirement to win the award is for a player to come in as a reserve more games than he starts. Odom started 35 games and entered off the bench in 47.

Lamar's numbers off the bench were nearly the same as starting. He deserved it. He's been the best sub all season.

And let's not act like guys like Manu and Terry haven't won in playing 30+ minutes, either.

Earlier in the season Odom said if he ended up winning the award he would place the trophy on the scorer's table at center court for the duration of the game as a symbol of his appreciation for the fans.

And as a cool forced plot gimmick for a future episode of Khloe and Lamar.

Rose does have bad knees though. I only started harping on it after he started complaining about tendinitis during his first summer league. Rose has greatly improved in every way, even in the way he talks during interviews. Can't hate on a guy that works like he does and doesn't bullshit when people ask him if he should be considered for the mvp before the start of the season. I still don't think he's a pg. He's the best player at the pg position, but SG is where he would really excel.

He still has bad knees. That's what caused the ulcers, too many painkillers. He's definitely more Wade than Chris Paul, but I don't know if he'd excel as a full-time SG. He's best with the ball in his hands at most times. I don't care a lot about positions, though. It's all about what system you have and what types of players fit. Sounds obvious, but I feel like people sometimes just get too hung up on what position a player should play.

In his 20 years as a head coach, Phil Jackson has been in 13 Finals and won 11.

And he was out for for the 1998-1999 season and the 2004-05, making it 13 Finals appearances in 18 years, actually.

Think about that shit.

What an amazing career. I don't think anyone can argue that Phil isn't the greatest coach in the entire history of the NBA.

Too bad his team gives him this type of effort in his final playoff run, determined to see Phil hobble off into the sunset. With a cane. And his tail between his legs.

Fair enough, but the argument here is that it is wildly statistically improbable that Crawford is not playing a role in determining the game's outcome. A quick chi-square test with these data shows that the likelihood of Crawford's presence contributing to the Mavericks' losses is incredibly high (for the aficionados among us, p=0.0009).

In other words, if Crawford's presence does not impact the Mavericks' likelihood of winning, we would expect to see this distribution of wins and losses approximately 0.09% of the time. This is pretty strong evidence that Crawford's presence is influencing the outcome of the game.

/I'm a scientist not a statistician so don't kill me if my logic isn't quite perfect (Edit comment)

And his star players have one exactly one title combined without him (Jordan, Pippen, Shaq, Kobe). He gets the rap of having coached only the greats, but I choose to believe that they were as great as they were because they were fortunate enough to be coached by him.

Yeah, he's always done so much with so little. Definitely the greatest of all time.

Jordan and Pippen were semi-washed up when they weren't on the Bulls plus in different situations(lol Wizards).

Phil was that good of a coach but he still had some of the best players ever.

This is why I think his career will be cut short. His body will just become too banged up. The spirit is willing but the body will be done.

He could always play in China with Marbury.

Speaking of China, I can't believe the Bulls hired John Lucas again who was in China until then. That fucker missed 2 important FTs which cost us the Nuggets' game.

They just needed to fill the roster likely.

I'm interested if Rasual Butler will be back next year, he looks like a good shooter to me though his age and movement isn't ideal.

I just don't expect the Mavs to overcome the reffing by Dan C in this game. Portland is a good team, so that alone makes it a hard series. Now they have to play them with that fuck reffing too? Guess we'll see how it plays out tonight.
Yeah the Mavs would likely lose even a fairly officiated series. This will just seal the deal.

It is still possible, i mean that's about Rondo's jump shot percentage but i have still seen him hit one before.

What's with your hard-on for Rondo of all people?
