Ohhhh BrandyBranduil said:Yeah the Mavs would likely lose even a fairly officiated series. This will just seal the deal.
Or, you know, you can try to get an open shot for somebody else.OKLAHOMA CITY Kevin Durant had 41 points in Game 1 and is the leagues two-time scoring champ, but when it came time for the big shot in Sunday's Game 1 win by the Thunder, it was Russell Westbrook who took it. In fact, Westbrook used the last five possessions for the Thunder, with four shot attempts and a turnover, even though a torrid Durant was 13-of-22 from the floor.
That seems terribly puzzling at first, unless you watched what took place off the ball. Oklahoma City had plays designed for Durant to get the ball from Westbrook, but he never get anywhere near it thanks to opponents strategy of walling him off the ball in those situations, using superior strength to prevent Durant from breaking free.
At the end of the game they like to hug Kevin, said Westbrook, and grab and hold him, so sometimes I have to be able to create a shot for myself if Kevin cant get the ball. I definitely try to get it to him but when I cant I have to get a shot myself.

I still have no idea why Sefolosha is on the floor at the end of games when we need to stretch the defense.reilo said:I love this!

Our end of game lineup should be Westbrook, Harden, Cook, Durant, and Ibaka/Mohammed.
No black holes, and the defense can't focus on any one player to stop.

Eh, the referee schedules have to be set up in advance I would assume. They have to book their flights and hotels, etc.Black Mamba said:maybe enough media attention is focused on Crawford that he will ref the opposite of expectations.
Then again, McMillen just complained about game 1, so he was probably sent in there to balance things out.

It is not public knowledge until game day though. So there's still room for conspiracy nuts. Plus, when a series goes to game 5/6/7, they need to book everything with only 1 days notice.reilo said:Eh, the referee schedules have to be set up in advance I would assume.
