Did he just attack his own party?!!!
It was never his party. He joined it because he could never win as an independent.
He can't win as a Democrat either but that's beside the point
Did he just attack his own party?!!!
Bernie does talk about Wall Street a lot, but are we in denial that they are at the root of a lot of the infrastructural problems in this country?
Who cares if it looks bad if he is fundamentally correct?
Bernie started slow, but he's parrying well with some specific rebuttalsReading the debate thread on GAF and reddit is surreal.
Reddit seems convinced Bernie is mopping the floor with Clinton, Gaffers seem like they think Clinton has this.
Those responses are obviously going to vary, but it's fun to see how people differ in their view of the same events.
Wall Street isn't alone in private interest influence in Washington. They're one of many. No, as in "structural." Basically money in politics is the root of all evil.

It hasn't been his party for very long, tbf.
His own party?
He's only became a democrat in order to run for the WH. He has no loyalty. (sound familiar?)
Hilary getting stomped

Now Bernie is attacking the entire Democratic party.
Eh, he's not wrong. He's showing he's no party lapdog.

It would be significantly more accurate to say that institutionalized racism is at the root of most of the infrastructural problems in this country.
Parrying is great and all but it's all about the riposteBernie started slow, but he's parrying well with some specific rebuttals
Hillary is actually doing well here I think.
Eh, he's not wrong. He's showing he's no party lapdog.
If other countries like in Europe have such good policies, can we get universal single payer health care too?
I don't think so.
Did he just attack his own party?!!!
I don't pretend to be an expert in these matters, but if 3/4 of the debate ends up being about the economy, wont that be better for Sanders, because it's the one area he's probably strongest on?
Not saying a win, but less chances he loses tonight...
Things are getting way, way, way, way, way better for the standards of living for most people, but you wouldn't know it listening to political discourse, because everyone thinks in relative terms.Matt Welch ‏@MattWelch 14m14 minutes ago
Bernie thinks international trade is a "race to the bottom." One billion people have been lifted out of poverty the last 25 years.
