Ohio got where it is from people like you fleeing that hellhole. You'll move eventually. You might as well start saving now.

I know this better than anyone. I'm not moving because I love Columbus, which is the only growth area for the state. It's young and vibrant and economically well-off.

If only people stuck around, it wouldn't have started sucking so much -_- . But Ohians love to hate themselves, so....it's their own unjust doing. I say "their" instead of "our" because I've never had this mindset and in fact have actively fought against it.

that'll get em to the polls

this is my fucking goddamn state

I seem to remember seeing some analysis that if gay marriage had only been legalised by individual referenda in every state, then Mississippi would likely end up being the last state to legalise it.

I agree with Trump, the media is rigged.

Also, GA and AZ must look really good and promising with their internals for the visits and huge ad buys. Are they sending anyone to Atlanta?

Anyone else think the 28% of Republican crossvoters in FL are perhaps the female members of the household who were too scared to say they weren't voting for Trump infront of their husbands/fathers? We talked about this a while back. This is a documented occurence in Iowa.

Most of this is anecdontal and goes against historical partisan breakdowns. I don't think that 28% number is legit. If it does move away from historical norms it will be only by a few points (which would still be pretty huge).

There's nothing wrong with being a demagogue, you just need to do it for the right causes.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Winning close is not really that acceptable to me. Close avoids the GOP from attempting reform and validates Trump's campaign. We also need a majority Senate to get some semblance of a functioning government.

Sorry--there is a colossal difference between a GOP-controlled government with Trump leading and a GOP-controlled government with Hillary.

This doesn't ask which is more honest, so it probably comes from Trump's hardcore disgusting base worshipping him and Clinton's being realistic or doing the standard Democrat thing of sheepishly staring at our feet instead of fighting for our side.

This is Bizarro World stuff. All I can figure is that the Clinton campaign hasn't bothered to hit Trump as hard for his missing tax returns and lack of truthfulness simply because his other character flaws (like the misogyny and racism) are much more glaring. So he gets a pass as some sort of "straight shooter" by default.

No matter the results of this election, I think I just want to get the fuck out of this country.

The fact that anyone can support Trump is legit horrifying.

Oh, I'm sure it'll work out well for Corbyn. :)

Corbyn wishes he could agei the demon. If he actually was a demagogue, the Labour party might be in reasonable nick right now!

Just saw the Trump supporter politician tweet about pulling out cunt to describe Clinton. We have reach apex election shenanigans.

Yeah I know that, still need her to win. I won't really feel all that celebratory if it's by a razor's margin. Plus GOP majority in both houses means we'll have a broken supreme court, impeachment votes on the regular and cabinet positions remaining to be vacant. Sen majority at least can fill the cabinet and restore the court.

Thank you "liberal" media!

I think this also points to the fact that Trump supporters will support him no matter what the evidence is, whereas HRC voters recognize her faults and answer the question at face value.

Trump has created a Cult of Personality around him, his narcissism will not give it up readily. So he will stay around, unless he can be successfully prosecuted for his fraud and tax evasion

No, “Blacks for Trump” isn’t the work of white supporters faking diversity. It’s worse. [Vox]
The ringleader of the group hoisting Blacks for Trump signs is a former cult member who goes by both Michael Symonette and “Michael the Black Man.” Pictured in the sunglasses in the video above, Symonette isn’t your typical Trump supporter, your typical conservative, your typical black Republican — or really your typical anything.

He’s the creator of the Gods2.com website that’s advertised on many of the Blacks for Trump signs, and a conspiracy theorist at a level that makes Trump’s claims of “vote rigging” look harmless. His political worldview centers on what he’s convinced is an upcoming battle in which black and white Americans will have to fight together against “Arabs” — and a belief that Hillary Clinton is a white supremacist determined to destroy black women in particular.
But what’s just as eye-popping as his storied past are his current views. When it comes to this election, Symonette’s support for Trump seems to be driven mostly by the fact that he’s vehemently anti-Clinton — but for reasons totally separate from the ones you’ll hear from the Trump campaign and most supporters.

No, Symonette doesn’t think she’s a “crook.” He’s convinced she’s a secret longtime white supremacist — with a specific goal to wipe out African-American women.

“Hillary’s last name is Rodham, and their family members are Rothschilds, who enslaved 13,000 slaves as collateral.” he told the Miami New Times, explaining his support for Trump. “I completely despise Hillary.” Gods2.com proclaims that Clinton, along with Obama, is a member of the Illuminati, and that she is in fact “in the KKK.” (It goes without saying that there is no evidence that Clinton is a member of or a friend to white supremacist groups, and that the Illuminati are not real.)
This world sure is endlessly interesting

The poll is actually pretty interesting. They found that the FBI stuff noticeably affected her favorability and honesty ratings (again) but hasn't changed vote intention much.

Who could have known the Des Moines cop killer was a fan of the Confederate flag?

Who.Coulda.Nown?

Judging from an eleven-minute long YouTube video, it appears Greene waved a Confederate Flag in the stands of an Urbandale High School game in front of a section of African American attendees. He was escorted out by police after causing a disturbance. Afterwards, he argues with police that he was simply excising his right to free speech, complained that his flag was taken, and accused someone of assaulting him during it.

@nate_cohn: Clinton has a 12 pt lead among early unaffiliated NC voters.
By primary vt:
C89-8 among D primary vt
T75-12 among R
C46-37 among no 16 p vt

This is good, especially since there are obviously more people who didn't vote either primary.

I wouldn't read too much into the adbuys. Literally most markets in swing states might just not have any slots left.

Which makes it more impressive that trump placed a $25m ad buy across the swing states

Maybe it's partisan non-campaign bias leading to systemic counting error

I have major reaervations toughting this hidden vote while simutaniously laughing away the "Shamed secret Trump" voter. I know that the women thing has a degree of reality, but it just seems hypocritical to put a lot of weight on something like that.

GUYS!!

Emerson landline only of Missouri senate...

Blunt 45
Kander 45

I'm starting to think Kander is going to win. He's insanely popular with college students who are volunteering in droves. At last week's rally that included Joe Biden, a college democrat association had registered over 4000 new voters for Kander.
