So Obama and Obama alone gets credit for anything that's happened in the past eight years as part of his administration? lol

Uh, are you being dense? It's not about credit but about personal politics. I don't like that Hillary Clinton will steer our foreign policy when she clearly agrees with the imperialistic notion that the US is exceptional and that we have a god-given right to leverage our hegemony at the expense of everyone else and our international standing.

HK-47

Oh, bitch bitch bitch.
Yes, I've noticed this trend.

What do you expect from a generation that is addicted to TV but wants to feel superior to the "Keeping up with the K" crowd?

Do you honestly think his diehard supporters will think this?

lulz :p

What about the crowd that looks down on people that watch House of Cards, especially if they do it ironically?

I don't think that's clear at all.

I think her relative hawkishness is by far her worst characteristic, but I wouldn't take the description of it anywhere near that far.

What's wrong with house of cards? Is it part is some purity test now? Is that how they do caucuses now? 'All in favor of Claire becoming the VP please stand on Hillary's side'

This is hilarious on multiple levels.

You know she would though, just to keep low taxes for her friends on wall street. The 1% just keep on winning.

"Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires."

How right Steinback was. And even when presented with the man with the cure to what ails Americans, years of conditioning of socialism hatred and cynical attitudes have crushed any hope for a true revolutionary, a man who treats the lower/middle classes like human beings than minor inconveniences.

I have no idea.

I fucking LOVE House of Cards.

Though I assume the crowd that does that are probably politicians that are annoyed at how the political process is depicted, much like how some doctors I know hate medical shows, lawyers hate law shows, scientists hate Big Bang, etc.
I actually read a great piece once about how DC actually loves HOC because it makes them seem like badass geniuses, even if they're awful, when the truth is probably closer to Veep.

I would rather a President whose foreign policy wouldn't be wholly based on the imperialistic notion that the US is exceptional and has a god-given right to unilaterally intervene in Middle Eastern countries, international legality be damned.

People say a Hillary Clinton presidency would be a third Obama term. That is absolutely untrue in terms of foreign policy.

Got proofs of purchase for the bold?

I don't even know what to make of that quote but it's another part of Sanders losing the news cycle when this should be about his Wisconsin win

Guys this is going to be a THING. People are running with this quote.

Which one, Bernie's quote?

Pretty big fuck up by Bernie considering his statement about Clinton calling him unqualified is a flat out lie and didn't happen, but I guess you start hearing what you want to hear when you think the whole world's out to get you.

So when she gets elected by Democrats and the party she's going to rip off her mask and reveal she was Dick Cheney all along? How is that any way to get re-elected?

I think people need to understand that even Presidents (not named Trump) are still beholden to the platform of the party and the party is not full of warhawks.

Thinking that our relations with Israel are in need of mending 'cause Obama was kinda mean to Bibi and that they need to be anything other than strictly business is personal politics, not party platform. You know she wrote that article in 2015, right? Under whose administration were US-Israeli relations "strained" so much that Hillary would think she ought to talk about mending?
For me, fighting for Israel isn’t just about policy — it’s a personal commitment to the friendship between our peoples and our vision for peace and security.

If you lost healthcare in this scenario, it wouldnt be because of Hillary or Wall Street, just like thats not the reason America doesnt have it. Also thats not a real Steinbeck quote.

That means she'l take over Canada.

That means we would pretty much regress as a society. I like my free healthcare Hillary, hands off!

as a Canadian myself, Bernie would do more harm than good to Canada.
his protectionists anti trade stance would do lots of harm across the border. Kill lots of business and jobs.

Hillary Clinton + Justin Trudeau would be as awesome as the glorious propoerous days of the 1990s of Bill Clinton + Jean Chretien

I can tell you after having had to listen to waaaay too many AIPAC speeches for their annual conferences I can find way worse soundbites from Obama addressing them than that one you pulled for Clinton.

I'm very confused at the current CNN headline. When did Clinton say that Bernie wasn't qualified for president? He says she said it, but I never saw it.

According to Politico, she ducked the question on Morning Joe three times, but never outright said he wasn't qualified.

Bernie doesn't have any cures, just ideas and words. He literally does not know how to solve the problems he complains about! He doesn't know how to break up the banks, he doesn't know how to fund free college, he doesn't know how to achieve single payer

There's no cure in his plans. Just words.

I can't believe some liberals are trying to go down the same path the left in Canada and some European countries did.

Please let's not fracture over small and sometimes just perceived differences.

I really hope the Bernie supporters I see online are just a small minority within his supporters, because the way they talk about Hillary is like she's some monster that would be worse than any president ever.

It was definitely bait that he fell for. Someone fed him wrong information.

Buuuut you don't use "quote unquote not qualified" in a speech unless you see the quote for yourself, IMO.

25% of Bernie supporters said they wouldn't vote for Hillary in a poll yesterday. There will be a large fraction that don't vote at all in the GE, but it will even out with Trump or Cruz on the ticket.

Holy shit Cenk is calling the Daily News interview a hatchet piece, and is framing it as they were a bunch of gotcha questions. Can't wait for the meltdowns on TYT after NY.

the Left wing Party in Canada (NDP) stupidly tried to replace the Centrist open tent Party (Liberals) when the Liberals were down in the polls by moving the NDP more towards the Center. (with the stupid rational that they could steal Liberal voters and destroy the Liberal Party).

then that Centrist open tent Party (Liberals) opened up their tent even way bigger including in more people from the Left which then sunk the Left wing Party (NDP) back to 3rd place where it belongs.

Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister forever!!!! :D

Am strongly considering changing my username to EMPRESS IN THE PALACE CLINTON.

Can I still get it changed back after

Hahaha that makes sense. I remember asking one of my friends in politics if it was really anything like that, and she laughed for like five minutes at me and told me to watch C SPAN.
Don't go overboard, and also watch Veep

Is Jimmy still arguing that letting Trump win over Hillary winning would be a preferable outcome?

I said this weeks ago and y'all threw shade at me for it, but I'm going to say it again: I am not expecting Bernie Sanders to lift a finger to unite the party when this is all said and done. I'll have an illicit affair with Ted Cruz if I'm wrong, at this point.

Well your future illicit affaire would destroy Ted Cruz GE campaign, so if that's the case not sure we need Bernie. The future of this election depends on you /s
