"Donald Trump is a raging sexist and racist, but Hillary Clinton isn't Bernie Sanders...so I don't know. We'll have to see what happens."

Idiot.

What is idiotic, is that she claims to be gravely concerned about Global Warming, but refuses to come out against fracking (she actually promoted it, as Secretary of State), when it greatly contributes to the release of methane, which, as I'm sure you know, is a far more potent greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide.

Do you just have a bucket of slips of paper you reach into?

You understand that natural gas IS methane, right?

Since natural gas use is cleaner than oil or coal, if increased gas production displaces dirtier power sources, it can still be a net gain.

There was a twitter commentary not too long ago that basically said she doesn't do this because she's thinking about democratic officials in areas where fracking is viewed positively and doesn't want to ruin their chances or some such.

It's easy to be ideologically pure and playing politics is never going to look good, but it is what it is.

We should have known Daniel was a robot. No human being could possibly bear to use the PS3 browser :p

In fairness to him, last time I asked him about this he said he wrote his own wrappers for it so that it could do normal browser stuff.

Like, Daniel is wrong about everything but let no one say he's not legit.

Imagine if one year ago you told Hillary that the three men standing in her way to the WH would be Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump, and Ted Cruz.

What the fuck. Okay, really don't care much for Bernie at this point. He and his entire campaign are tone deaf and just don't get it.
Shaun King..wasn't there some scandelous things he was involved with recently? Something about money for charities etc.
I don't recall that. Any links? I do remember the smears Breitbart committed against Shaun last year, over "lying" about his race, though.

That's dedication, possibly to the point of insanity :p

The three unwise men?

She's also said that she wants fracking to die a natural death instead of killing it and bringing down local economies with it... I think that's a sensible position to take.

That's...actually kind of impressive in a bizarre way. And it makes me think he might actually believe the stuff he posts.

That doesn't seem rational. If it can be done safely with minimised or negligible negative impacts then I don't see why you'd see it die any death.

The opposition to fracking, whilst there are perfectly good reasons for concern and why it should be carefully regulated, strikes me as one of those issues where people decide they're against it and then go looking for evidence rather than the other way round.

Although I guess that applies to most things.

Nonsense, his message is catching on in trees and aviaries across the nation.

Wasn't there something to do with Trees and the Nintendo NX? And Sanders is against Free Trade? Nintendo NX being made in the United States!?

Somewhere, sometime and in a not Fox-News setting I recall reading about how local production and fracking actually reduces global warming emissions due to less fuel used to ship fuel.

Man made earthquakes aside.

And I had sincerely been meaning to compliment you on the quality of your recent posts ;).

Sure (on CH4), but as I understand it, they can't, or are not willing to (due to added expense), guarantee zero leakage from fracking wells, and the integrity of said wells is only around 80%, and where you have leakage, you can contaminate groundwater and / or release methane (natural gas).

Maybe he can go on about the water supply contamina ..... Wait.

EDIT: man ... he went in on the water supply contamination before I made my post

I love Shaun King but the constant negative articles/links against Hillary make my head spin. After reading about the math, time to let it go.

This is just an opinion of a lily white outsider but I find it fascinating that many young BLM activists seem to not "get" that a whole lot of black people supported the Crime Bill*, and a whole lot of black people (specifically older black people) still really like the Clintons. You can talk all you want about statistics and incarceration but I think Clinton's dominance of the black vote really shows that she is being accepted by that community. My general view is that a lot of people are good at figuring out who is on their side and who isn't. Many forget but Bill Clinton came into office with a rather diverse cabinet, he went out his way to directly speak with the black community, and in general at the time was more friendly with black people than any modern candidate I can think of (maybe since RFK?).

*Not suggesting black people supporting the bill means it was justified. I'm arguing that many black people (including politicians) from crime ridden neighborhoods thought it was a good idea, not just the Clintons. It turned out to be a bad idea.

I never thought I'd say this but PoliGAF has turned into a Clinton echo chamber. I stopped talking about it because we already won. In fact I'm pretty much done with democratic politics until the next cycle. I just want more Cruz sex scandal stuff!

You ain't see nothing yet. I hope you are all ready, for soon it shall begin. The Great Circlejerk of our time approaches. Months upon months of Poligaffers vigorously pleasuring each other with tales of Hillary's future conquests. It shall be glorious.

Just checked at my local reps to see who they've endorsed.

My congresswoman, QUEEN Marcia Fudge, endorsed the obvious choice. She is always right.

Oh, and she also endorsed Somebody Clinton for something too.

God, I hate the dab. I swear it's a trap. It's a "dance move" designed by people who can dance to make people who can't dance look even more stupid so all the people who can dance snicker at you. Put your face into your elbow and cough!

Maybe you could come up with a funny title and we will talk about it.

Do this one!

Daily Beast? Not sure if they are a conservative site..:

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...ney-shaun-king-raised-for-black-lives-go.html

King, one of the most visible faces of the Black Lives Matter movement and no stranger to controversy, is now beating back accusations that he has misappropriated or mismanaged charitable funds.

King collected millions of dollars for everyone from Haitian orphans to the families of black men and children killed by police across America. Some of that money went to survivors or victims’ families, but much of the largess either went into failed projects, King’s own pockets, or is unaccounted for.

“It’s just bullshit,” King told The Daily Beast on Tuesday after allegations were lobbed against him by members of his own movement. “People need to understand that failure is not fraud.”

Seeing Susan Sarandon in Bull Durham was one of the early childhood indicators that I was a straight dude. Can't hate on her just on that note even if, woof on that "don't know if I can vote for Hillary" tip.

On another note, how is Cruz anywhere near Trump in CA in polling? Where is Cruz's likely voter for this primary? It would be mostly north of Sacramento in the theoretical state of Jefferson, right? I would assume Orange County Republicans would be Trump fans (for his immigration stance) or Kasich (just an informal survey of OC Pubbers I know who were self-proclaimed moderates). I am surprised that voters from Jefferson + conservative border-town voters who aren't voting Trump are enough to get him over 30% there.

Of course, I don't live there, so hopefully a CA voter will chime in here. I've wondered about this since the most recent polls showed him right behind Trump.

This is mostly because the race is over.

There's a lot to talk about on the Republican side, but for the Dems, barring a catastrophic shift this thing is called. Bernie's campaign is like a freshwater fish that somebody accidentally put in a salt water tank. Sure, it's flopping around now, but it'll be dead soon.

I'd love it if Bernie used the rest of this primary season to educate the American people on his socialist ideals and actually nurture the progressive wing of the Democratic party; but his campaign is so me-focused and so intent on going down without a shred of dignity, that if we're going to talk about him all there is to really discuss is the latest stupid thing Bernie, his wife, or the people leading his campaign have said.

Oh, and Susan Sarandon, who seems to be in a foot eating contest with Killer Mike.

Yeah, definitely have read about the work they've put into earning the respect and trust from communities. That's not to say there aren't valid criticisms of Hillary, because there are, nor do I claim to know and experience what many black people go through. I'm latina, trans, undocumented so I do understand from the perspective of being treated and seen as a lesser human being. But indeed, each individual is free to form their own thoughts on each candidate, just don't try to equate one (Hillary) with the likes of Trump and Cruz in a misguided perception that everybody outside of their prefered candidate doesn't care about minorities. I mean Hillary didn't and couldn't even vote for the crime bill. Bernie did.
He kinda sucks after he came for crissles and deray for meeting with politicians and appearing in the media.
Reading about this... going to see what's up.
Seems inconclusive. Don't know honestly. From reading their other articles I've always assumed they were.
