So what's the consensus of the damage of a potential leak of several of Hillary's transcripts to Wallstreet? Say least 3 that pretty much contradict her whole talking point of "standing up to wallstreet" - that ends up being more like Obama's soothing and caring back in 09 in the famous bankers meeting...."You got a PR problem"...or so it was dubbed.

How close or un-close to Mitt's 47%?

She will never release them of course. They'll have to leak. The best suited for that kind of access are GOP bigwigs.

At this point the damage would be minimal, because it's too late in the game for Bernie's camp to make a huge stink out of them.

Then again, I don't think there's anything damning in those speeches to begin with. She gave these speeches likely in front of a large number of people. If she had said something truly damning, we'd have heard it at this point.

People seem to have a false idea of how celebrity speaking engagements actually go down. Celebrities (whether entertainment, political, or academic) are paid to appear at an event and speak. They show up, shake hands, take pictures. They speak for a bit, usually about the thing that made them famous or their time in office. They say something complimentary and relevant to the group they're speaking to, then they leave. Considering the amount of money Hillary got, and how relatively little it is in the grand scheme of how much she's made speaking, it's highly likely she gave them a standard speech with some relevant things about finance and Goldman Sachs thrown in.

I'm of the mind set that if there was anything juicy in them, they'd have leaked ages ago.

I think she's just hanging onto them at this point because she doesn't want to cave into demands. That's probably the smart move at this point, given how the primaries are basically over Tuesday. Laying low and dodging them might be kind of slimy, but it's more or less been effective on this particular issue for the last few months.

Maybe she'll release them next Friday or something. I'd say that's the safest time as any to get them out of the way.

I just gave to Jacky Rosen and LuAnn Bennett (YASSS LADIES NIGHT), who on this list of Republicans is the biggest garbage human that I should give my money to ps I'm tipsy make it good

Yo give some money to Angie Craig in MN-2, and if she does announce, Terri Bonoff in MN-3.

If they win and Peterson/Nolan keep their seats, MN-6 (Bachmann's district) will be the only Republican district in the state.

She was arrested in DC at the capital I think. And of course she was wearing a TYT shirt

I always wonder if Rosario Dawson could, in future, be that speculated Bernie 2.0? She'd probably have to run for a public office first but I could see her as a very interesting and more appealing potential candidate. She's quite young and already very politically active so I could see it working if Sanders supporters don't lose interest in politics.

That would be an interesting campaign. I could see the attack ads highlighting her full frontal nude scenes now.

"Just watch Trance guys, just watch it."

"Well...well shit. Goddamn! I'm voting for her now for sure!"

Whoever is the next person to push socialism, of any kind, will need to be a hardcore policy wonk if they're going to be taken seriously. Bernie doesn't have enough of a mastery of the details of policy, he just has the right message at the right time. That's all, he's not anything other than that. They'll need to be Obama 2.0 to make it happen.

Someone like Warren, but who isn't Warren, would be my preferred liberal candidate

She seems to know how the system works and how to get real policy moving, while still still keeping to her liberal beliefs.

I mean, I guess anything can happen. But Rosario doesn't seem to have a particular interest in politics outside of stumping for anti-establishment candidates.

And isn't she the one who recently tried to say that Hillary, the first SoS to champion woman's rights around the world, only cared about white American women?

I mean it's ultimately still a massive waste of his campaign funds.

He flew a quarter way around the world using money from the poors to give a short speech at an academic conference.

It doesn't create a perception of gravitas. It doesn't change his lack of depth and breadth on policy or international relations. It's just wacky.

Big fat mistake.

Well that was a boring non-issue speech. It's cool that she was promoting women in different industries but there's literally no bombshell in there.

But a BANK paid her to give the speech, and so now she's corrupted and must deregulate Wall Street unilaterally once she becomes President.

Is that game supposed to be like, really good? Someone on my YouTube feed said it was an instant classic, and I haven't used my PS4 in a while...

It's just a decent game with really good timing. Been way too long since the last full big budget game like that.

Maybe wouldn't call it a classic, but I'm really enjoying my time with it.

Yeah, this has been on YouTube for a while. It's not one of the "secret" speeches.

Although, it is a good indicator of the kinds of things Hillary talks about when speaking, and her private speeches were likely something similar. I read somewhere that when at speaking engagements Hillary usually prefers to talk about the role of women in whatever group she's speaking to.

I have a feeling the True Believer Left will only get more loud and annoying now that they're going to have a martyr (Sanders) and their Big Money Enemy will become president. Hopefully they can go back to living in tents in parks again so no one has to see them.

How many more games must mario spend dicking around in space.
I want another sunshine. It wasn't the tightest platforming experience but isle delfino was so chill to just walk around and enjoy the island vacation vibes

And you know the sand and water would look amazing in hd

Sunshine had the best controls of any 3D Mario game imo, but the structure is horrible. Only 7 stages and a bunch of it is blue coin bullshit. If they fixed that, sure.

Isn't the new Star Fox supposed to be decent? I dunno I haven't really kept up. TPHD and Xenoblade X have been collecting dust.

Eh, I typically play through the entire console Zelda series in the lead-up to a new Zelda title, so my gaming plate is already full for the rest of the year. I still have yet to start a game of Skyrim (it's been sitting on my PC for forever); that alone will keep me busy for a year.

I dont think thats one of the speeches everyone is talking about. The title of the video says the speech was given at the clinton global initative which from what I understand is an initiave of the clinton foundation.

Sunshine does have the best feeling controls of any 3d mario. I meant that compared to the galaxy games, the gameplay is a lot more about collecting things and exploring large environments than navigating platforming challenges.

You picked the worst group of people possible to slag on for disappointment dawg. Ive bought two Wiiu's. As nintendo fans we are loyal in the face of eternal disappointment. 1996 is always just around the corner

No reviews yet but sounds like the Gamepad gimmick really sucks and the overall structure is really shallow.

http://bigstory.ap.org/article/51a3...41f4e/bernie-sanders-says-he-met-pope-francis

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders says in an interview with The Associated Press that he met with Pope Francis.

Sanders says the meeting took place Saturday morning before the pope left for his one-day visit to Greece. He says he was honored by the meeting, and that he told the pope he appreciated the message that he is sending the world about the need to inject morality and justice into the world economy. Sanders says it's a message he has been sending as well.

Sanders traveled to Rome to attend a Vatican conference on economic inequality and climate change. He is an admirer of the pope and has praised the pope's views on poverty and the environment.

The Vermont senator is challenging Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination.

Dr. Jeffrey Sachs, a Sanders foreign policy adviser and adviser to the United Nations on climate change, said there were no photographs taken of the meeting.

Sachs said Sanders and his wife Jane met the pope in the foyer of the domus as the pope was leaving for Greece. The meeting lasted for about five minutes, Sachs said.

So Bernie basically stalked the Pope.

Has the Vatican confirmed the meeting? Bernie is coming off as desperate here. I'm sure they did meet but its a bit unseemly trying to clothe himself in Pope Francis.

That's a dirty trick, lol. My god. The testicles on that man.

If the Swiss honor guard were armed, this could have been prevented! Not sure how much experience they have dealing with loitering old men.

Lol

I might say. A win is a win. I don't think it's going to be relevant on Tuesday but I gotta give it to him. He really really wanted that headline and he got it.

I don't see how the Vatican doesn't deny it. They can't be seen butting into the middle of a nation's election, it sets all kinds of horrible precedents. Bernie should know this isn't a good thing to be doing, it's foreign policy 101.

To go back to something a few pages ago, one of the least attractive characteristics of a lot of progressives is their insistence that, along with the more reasonable belief that the financial sector wasn't properly regulated pre-2008, all bankers and so on are complete and utter bastards. Most of the bankers and corporate financiers I know are lovely people, and it really pisses me off when people talk about how all bankers are evil pieces of shit.
