I was about to retort that the map had four states shaded as "ties" but a count of 5 states tied so it must be including Arizona, but now I see they have the Northern Mariana Islands shaded as a tie. Which is still quite amusing since Clinton won it by over 19 points.

Bernie is not the candidate that socialists or social democrats need. He's not a great politician. But as far as the libertarian thing goes; I do believe it is becoming a bigger issue. The libertarian party is polling at like 11% for the national election. The Green Party is what? Maybe 1% at the most? And the libertarian party is likely to keep growing at a pretty fast pace as the republicans keep losing their shit.

That's a single poll that I'm not sure we can take at face value. They asked about a three-way race between Clinton, Trump, and Johnson. You have to think that most of that 11% is just Republicans and Republican-leaners choosing the non-Trump, non-Clinton option.

In 2012 Johnson got just under 1% of the vote. I'd need to see some actual votes before I believe the Libertarian Party has any actual momentum.

I think we need a more nuanced and reasoned approach to eating pizza with a fork. There are objective evils in this world, but given the wide spectrum of pizza styles across this great nation of ours, one cannot reasonably expect that all pizzas are created equally, nor that all pizzas can be eaten without a fork. Would that we all were born in New York with it's thin crust and could merely fold it and shove it into our mouths sans fork... but this is the real world. Not everyone has the same opportunities, and we should not shame someone's pizza eating habits until we've walked a mile in their shoes, seen the struggles they go through, the thickness of their crusts, the number of their toppings, or the grease coat on their slice. From streets of New York, to the hallowed halls of Flying Pie in Boise, all pizza is beautiful, and we need to come together in unity, barefisted, or forks in hand.

I got to 178. It seemed to me the higher the correlation the easier it was to have guessed the correlation. On the other hand telling the difference between a .1, .2, and .3 was hard.

I'm honestly amazed how easy I found this, I don't usually work with correlations and I got the first one dead on. I think the hardest is actually around 0.5. The lower ones are clearer because it goes from being basically random, then a slight pinch, then a more noticeable one. The middle ones you have to really judge.

At what point do we recognize "political revolution" is not a size fits all answer to the question, or any question? Sanders is certainly old enough to remember Jimmy Carter, and the failure of his administration in large part due to ostracizing his own party in congress. It seems quite clear to me that he's really nothing more than an ideological candidate, like Ron Paul. He has no interest in governing or building coalitions.
