Look, I don't know if Surveymonkey is actually run by monkeys. I don't! But no one's ever seen these guys. Something's going on there, that's all I'm saying. Something's going on.

The contrast.

Clinton / Trumpster
White men:
-52 / -6

Non-white women:
+46 / -86

Her favourability among men decreased between polls.

Why do you suck white guys?

Haven't been keeping up with my political news recently, but will Bernie officially announce that he is dropping out today or tomorrow? Is he going to endorse Clinton for the nomination?

You know how hard it is getting ahead while all those pesky *insert any racial slur*s keep unfairly getting our jobs and money?

Transcript of Paul Ryan’s life since endorsing Trump

LOL. Paul Ryan getting what he deserves tbh.

Why do you suck white guys?

We don't suck and I guess that's the problem. White gay guys seem more sane

Do you guys ever feel like you're becoming your father?

I just accidentally found my dad in the comments section on a C-SPAN Facebook post.

I was at Subway last week and they had free mints and I stuffed my pockets with them. After sitting down, I immediately realized I was doing exactly what my dad does with free candy.

Sadly, the idea that so many white men are sexist isn't surprising to me in the least.

I'm actually a little worried that Trump will get dropped before the convention at this point. He needs to slow down until then. Don't blow your whole load too early!

Even if they did that somehow, the candidate would be starting a general election campaign in late July from zero or like 5 mph.

Right, the white knight would still have no field organizing operation, no data analytics, and would be at a massive fundraising disadvantage. Plus they'd have to waste time establishing legitimacy and unifying the base, depending on how messy the circumstances were in which Trump left. Also it would just contrast badly against the Dems, who would look relatively sane, competent, unified, and on-message.

Trump was dealt a royal flush and folded.

I actually did that once at a casino. The royal flush was all in the community cards, and after the river came all anyone had in the pot was the blinds. Someone went all-in, then everyone went all in. I folded because I would lose more money in the 5% rake than if I folded.

I thought I was so smart until the casino came and gave everyone a certificate saying they hit a royal flush. If I had known I would have gotten a certificate I would have sacrificed a few bucks for that. :(

Trump actually had a huge chance if he actually bothered to look somewhat presidential, for him, after the attack.

Instead one of the first things he does is congratulate himself on Twitter and float conspiracy theories.

It is amazing how he flubbed a rightwing homerun

Trump will meet with the NRA to make sure guns aren't sold to people on watchlists..

1. Isn't this what Obama said?
2. The NRA??? Are they suddenly a branch of government?

Within Sanders’ inner circle, conversations about Sanders’ post-presidential-primary role in Congress have been ongoing for months, but the first attempts to branch out beyond the staff and advisers came on Sunday, as the senator convened top surrogates (including former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner and actress Shailene Woodley)
This was kind of amusing from Politicrap. I had never heard of this woman before, but she's the Detergent actress? That doesn't seem like the best person to go to for advice on post-primary roles.

I put together this simple webpage today for my own amusement and I thought some of you might like it. It's very simple and is just a one stop place to see the current Huffington Post Trump v Clinton aggregate, Sam Wang's 270-to-Win map, as well as three EV charts from Princeton Election. Don't know what else should be on there that is embeddable. Hopefully I can add the 538 model once it is up.

Thanks for putting that together, I really like it. Maybe add the Real Clear Politics aggregate, so you have two? The only other state-of-the-race resource I consider essential is that blogger/artist who does those allegorical anime political pictures (www.hon-haka.org/), but that is just because the odder niches of cultural conservatism are really interesting to me, and I've never seen anything remotely like that before.

I'm a little late, but just saw Cooper and Bondi. God, he went at it! The "human beings" ending was just...ugh. Take the loss and move on.

So Trump is going to beg the NRA to give permission to Republicans to vote on a law that restricts selling to people on the watch list?

I'm all for more progressive platform, though I wish people stop acting like the party platform matter all that much. You want progressive agenda passed, get progressive people into congress, it's not like Hillary is going to veto progressive bills (and she sure as hell not going to consult the party platform when making such decisions.

As for the other points, what do people expect Hillary to do in regard to DWS and how states run their primaries?
The DNC chair is voted by the DNC and the state parties decide about the primary process. I guess Hillary can publicly endorse a position/chair candidate, not sure that's a hill worth dying on to be honest (not to mention that it's a weird thing to be coerced into and that it wouldn't matter all that much at the end of the day anyway).

It's pretty damn unprecedented for someone who lost (especially for someone who lost as handily as Sanders) to dictate things like cabinet positions or even VP. And for the record, I think Hillary should pick a progressive VP (not sure about Sanders as cabinet member, does he even wants that?).

As for the Chairman of the Banking Committee, again, what do you exactly want Hillary to do about that?
This is decided by the senate, and really, if you want a liberal chairman there your number one priority is having the Democrats winning back the senate, and I'm really not sure Sanders holding out is helping that.

It's all unprecedented! I don't love it. But I also understand that from his POV, he wants a "political revolution" within the Dem party, something Hillary did not care about in 2008. These are also not all things Hillary can do, which is why a few of those later things were just musings on what concrete steps, if any, she could do to win him over. I think ultimately Warren as VP is the only one.

He seems pretty vindictive. I don't love that, but if we have to sacrifice Debbie Wasserman Schultz to placate his ego, sure.

Nah. He's already greatly overplayed his hand, why stop now.

... I know some of these words, such as casino. I feel like a dog in a Gary Larsen cartoon.
