I'll, again, use the Phantom Blade Zero developer example. They already clarified that their game was launching on PS5 (at first at least) but when later there were some fake things attributed to them about Xbox, they immediately came out to clarify those.
I'm not saying GS need to come out and lay down their memory usage on Series S, just to refute these claims about any exclusivity deal being the cause of the delay.
That's gonna end this discussion immediately.
So I guess you will be disapointed because nothing that you want can happen, it is contradictory.Either sony made a deal, did not advertize or took full advantages of the deal and wanted the studio to keep quiet about it then they can't clarify that there's a deal.
Or they just respond the same response because they are not specialised in PR to avoid a backlash from xbox
Or they just outright deny it
or they don''t respond considering that their game is selling well and that any response could harm potential xbox sales.
Not a lot of scenario there that would satisfy everybody and also there may be some legal obligations that may prevent them from saying we have a problem with x or y machine to avoid bad mouthing a console when a memory leak is not the fault of said console for example (I used the memory leak as an example).
