I have mixed feelings on all the farming and grinding for some steps in the quests. they're horrible. but the fact that they end with a super challenging strike that requires a fireteam to complete makes them a great way to keep scrubs out from obtaining them easily.

Really happy that Bungie made the most valuable exotics be quest-gated. So much better than praying to RNG.

We came from praying every Tuesday and doing exotic checkpoints to actually wanting to play the content normally in TTK.

I more or less agree, though the way some of the content has been rolled out has been less than ideal.

Yes, but the most important thing is that there is a guaranteed way to get it! And yes, the difficult quests makes them more valuable and interesting to own.

Same here! I wish Destiny will fill up with more, interesting, stage battles like this one. It really stands out in my opinion as the best boss fight in the game with those modifiers on.

No, I just got my SS this morning. The gunsmith looked like he gave me The First Firewall again but the SABER strike was now available. Me and two randoms got to the boss and one of them left so me and the other guy ended up two manning it after a try or two.

It's reward from one of the Vanguard quests, if I remember right. I'm surprised if it's not common sight in IB and ToO.

I really loathe people who use the OP guns with God rolls from Vanilla in Crucible. At least TRY and kill me with the new guns maybe? Also, Bungie's new matchmaking when you are a decent PVP player/solo queing is terrible. I'm flattered but I can't carry a team. I ain't no Unstable train.

Exactly... so much happening, so many shields, just the right amount of adds, multi-stage battle with increasing difficulty... not to mention the strike specific loot! Feels like the end of a mini-raid.

Edit: Oh and... can't forget the actual setting in that huge arena... just perfect!

Luke if you see this... more like these please! Less horrid Vex bosses (as they are in their current state).

I doubt it. I think you'll see a ton of variety in the primary weapon slot. There really are a lot of viable options there.

For special, there will still be a big population of people who like to snipe, and there are some great sniper rifles available to choose from. Conspiracy Theory is a reward weapon, and it's pretty solid so I'm sure you will see it quite a bit. It's no where near as terrible as the Felwinter's/Matador god rolls though, so that's fine.

That sniper rifle with Luck In The Chamber proc doing the work. Last Round 2.0, like I said days ago. That shit along with sunbreakers will make IB and ToO extremely painful.

Edit: I wonder how much it's RNG and how much it's just hard coded that game keeps giving you low light garbage from engrams once you are 290+
