Here are my favorite pick-ups from June! It was a slow month for me...

While I was in Tokyo last week, the Bandai Namco Ent./TEKKEN Project Team gave me a bunch of Tekken 20th anniversary stuff as thanks.

Met with Sanwa to talk about our plans for EVO 2015. They made some cool pins that will be available at the event!

My friend and co-worker got some awesome Sailor Moon socks for my daughter

Did you know E3 had a special PlayStation shop? I was able to get these new exclusive New Era 9FIFTY and 59FIFTY there. They are supposed to be sold on New Era's site soon.

Some amiibo's for my daughter. I'm not really into them. But I do love the Ness one!

The original Tournament Edition FightStick body/casing is back! I'll be using this while playing games at work.

I have the power! I couldn't resist this one... I wish I got the limited edition one!

More amiibos for my daughter's collection.

I am a huge Castlevania fan.

Nothing too big yet, but my Pit Amiibo arrived from Amazon, with damaged packaging and all, not a big deal though as I open mine anyways.

I also picked up this TP-Link USB hub as my new desk forced me to place the computer in a place that made the usb ports kind of awkward to reach. This hub solved that problem and actually looks quite nice compared to a lot of the other in my opinion gaudy looking options out there.

Finally got a new 3ds. Went for the one with the fire emblem face plates.

Ha ha thanks all. It's definitely a nice step-up from my OLED (which I love but feel comfortable retiring now) and significantly lighter. The colors don't look washed out at all (which was a fear of mine in regards to the slim) and really, the weight reduction and increased battery life is awesome. Finally, I like that the back seems more grippy than the OLED model felt.

Ganondorf and Zero Suit Samus, newly released amiibo, plus a Sliver Mario imported from the States via Amazon:

Some choice Xbox 360 exclusives, in preparation for the extension of Xbox One backwards compatibility. There's a few more that I'll be after, just need to find the best price. Tales of Vesperia had better be included in the catalogue of compatible games!

Breaking my usual rule of waiting for price drops on full-price releases, I picked up the steelbook special edition of Arkham Knight, while Yoshi's Woolly World joins my Wii U collection and Sunset Overdrive starts that collection for Xbox One.

Finally, two digital pickups for the Xbox One - Ori is pretty much essential, while for £1.38 I couldn't really refuse Max: The Curse of Brotherhood.

GameStop is having a buy 2 get 1 free on all pre-owned items, so I took advantage and got these just a bit ago.

Apparently, the sale also counts consoles, so the guy there was like, "You can buy a PS4 and Xbox One, and get another for free!" The guys there were talking about buying lots of Vita's. Hah.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was actually $4.99, and my copy came with the sountrack. NHL 10 was $2.99, and was the free game. I couldn't think of anything else that was $4.99 or less that I wanted to get. I've been wanting a hockey game for Xbox 360 for a while, so I got that one, since it was the newest one they had that was under the price required to get it for free. Resident Evil: Revelations was $19.99.

Been in Japan for the last two weeks and am heading home tomorrow. Spent two and a half days in Tokyo and the rest of the time back in my old stomping grounds in Ishikawa-Ken (Kanazawa city and the surrounding areas). Gotta say, I was disappointed in what I found. It ended up being a good amount of nerd crap, sure, but compared to when I was last here five years ago, things have really dried up. Could not find a number of games I was looking for anywhere. Got a couple of games off Amazon.jp because of it. Seems like everyone has taken to selling stuff online. Even the arcades are finally starting to close or reduce the amount of games they have. At least the NESICA system means a lot of titles can now be playable on a single cab, like a modern day Neo-Geo.

Anyway, onto my haul. Quick pics since I'm in the middle of packing up.

Games and game-related goods. While it was as easy as ever to find recent titles on the current platforms, it was really hard to find a large selection of stuff for PS2, PS3 (this really surprised me), GBA, and the like. I got most of the 3DS stuff a GEO shop. This was the only store where they wanted to make sure that I knew that the games were Japanese and that the New 3DS cradle was for the smaller model. Guess problems have happened too many times in the past.

Perverted figures, cuz lol imma nerd. I got some little ones too but they're already packed up. All were purchased second hand except for the Kotobukiya Tekken Anna Williams figure.

Senran Kagura drink coasters and shot glasses. There's also a Super Sonico shot glass and a little poster, and on the bottom are some katana-shaped chopsticks from the Kotobukiya store.

Various guide/art books, mostly for Senran Kagura. Picked up just about anything SK-related that I could find. My wife was like "you're not really buying that shit, are you?" Sorry! ^_^;

A Super Famicom in pristine condition. This is for fellow GAF member thechristoph. The store I found this at used to have a massive collection of games and consoles for sale. Stuff like stacks of boxed PC-FX systems. It was all gone. T_T

Converse shoes bought in a Kanazawa Katamachi shoe shop. I had this same pair a good decade ago, also bought in KZ. The clerk said that they only sell this particular design in this region. Not sure if true.

Birthday was in June so I had a few things going on, but here's my favourite thing I picked up; my new desk! Also picked up a Thrustmaster Hotas X to play Elite: Dangerous with.

Also, here's some of the smaller presents I got. One of my friends painted me a custom Link Amiibo as he knows I love the Fierce Deity from Majora's Mask.

Finally, here's a couple of things that turned up yesterday. I'm seriously loving my new Bluetooth speaker.

It could be due to the theme (since it's preinstalled) though I can't remember if it's like that on my OLED (NA 3G model) as I haven't looked at it in a few days since getting the new one.

I'll probably rotate it occasionally. The first two of those have interesting stories behind them. The last three are just games I like (the FF is IX).

I love this jersey and I've wanted it for the longest time. Unfortunately, it was always sold out whenever I decided to get it. Randomly, I went to Real Madrid's website and saw it up for preorder so I jumped on it.

Been eyeing this on eBay for a while. They sold this when they came to the US on tour last summer. Unfortunately, I live nowhere near where they played so I thought it'd be cool to have. For $10, I bit.
