EXACTLY THIS! The best thing I found was Motorstorm. That's it. Everything else is as you said: sports games and overpriced xbox games.

-sigh-

Whoever gave all those games to goodwill is crazy. Those games would've gotten a decent price.
It's usually mothers who want their kids dumb shit out of their house the second they go to college.

Happened to me with a lot of my comics i couldn't bring with me.
Goodwill sells anything people donate. Well, maybe not porn.
I found a sex swing in a goodwill once.

Granted it's not porn but who the fuck sells sex swings outside of porn shops? that's probably the greatest thing i have seen at a goodwill.

Most of those are from either April or May, but only now I got my hands on them. Apologies in advance for the crappy pics.

Diablo III CE thanks to Best Buy which let me order it online a day after launch. Posing here with the rest of the gang. I never had the chance to get the Hellfire expansion though.

Good old fighting games. Both were around $3 new from Amazon, so why not?

Again, thanks a lot Best Buy for that Deal of the Day. Only $5.

Best soundtrack to ever grace a videogame.

At $20 at a local shop, it was a steal.

Now this I didn´t mind paying full price, best way to play DS games.

Why no Diablo 1 - Hellfire expension, was it that bad?

Long time reader, first time contributor. Great threads by the way.

So, I just picked up the following for $60 from Craigslist; they were sold as-is with most of the SNES carts listed as "not working" and a couple of the GBA carts not working; after some cleaning, I got everything to work except for one of the GBA SPs and Reign of Fire, but fuck it I don't care about that game and only need one working GBA anyway... and, the SP isn't totally busted, it just never seems to load a game beyond the Nintendo splash screen. Also, got a really nice Intec hard case for the GBA SPs.

Super Metroid has a nasty label tear unfortunately, and there's a big ass sticker leftover on Tetris Attack (but I can get that off with some effort). Xbox games have some stickers on the cases but I can remove those as well. Otherwise, they're all in at least decent condition with a few games in great condition.

The scratch on Batman isn't nearly as bad or deep as it looks in that pic.

I've only ever played Final Fantasy Tactics, Metroid Fusion, Super Metroid, and Super Mario-Allstars... never touched any of the other games before now. Going to sell off those 4 to re-coup some of my costs, and then play through and gradually sell off the rest. I think Castlevania, Congo's Capers, Demon's Crest, and Batman should alone recover most of the $60 if not more than that.

It finally got released here!

What's really cool: it isn't an European repackaging. It was actually printed in USA exclusively for Mexico and Brazil (and I am guessing the rest of Latin America). That "10" is the age rating for Brazil.

They even used the original logo for the series :D

I didn´t know it was going to be localized for Mexico / Latin America, I thought Game Planet & Co. would just import the PAL version. Nice I guess, but I´m ordering the NTSC-J version instead.

How are you liking it?

Nice pickups systematic, I am extremely jealous of the SNES Wii controller. I am running out of hope that those will get added to Club Nintendo here in the US.

I haven't had a chance to play it yet :(
I had the chance to get the European version, but I felt like supporting these kind of efforts from publishers.

That's an amazing poster!

A couple of shmups and a blu ray

Raiden IV was $26 and Raiden Fighters Aces was $18.50 on Amazon so I had to snap them up since thats quite a bit cheaper than the going rate on there.

Fear and Loathing is to replace a copy that mysteriously disappeared.

Holy shit.

If it has the LatAm dub I'm so sold...

Strange that they used the brazilian rating even though the box is in spanish.

I will let you know as soon as I get some free time to actually try the game (I highly doubt it, though).

And yeah, it's odd, but this is the SKU that will be sold in Brazil (if your console isn't set to "Spanish", the game will be on Portuguese by default)

Just moved into my first apartment with wife about a week ago. Still getting it all together but this is it so far. Also, there's a second bedroom but that will eventually be my game room so I'll post that when it's all done.

PS2 Games that I recently went and picked up from a couple of local stores

Also picked up a GameCube and a few games

and finally, the Dreamcast and games I just picked up

Got these for 15€ a pop. Since they're not really my bag, I already sold Skies of Arcadia for 75€, and traded Ikaruga for an N64.

Got these over the past couple of weeks for a total of 170€. Saved about 100€ total.
