I want to say nikki Haley but to be honest she seems too smart to tie herself to that dumpster when she has future aspirations

Clinton will pick Kaine because there doesn't seem to be a big downside

Trump will pick Christie because why the hell not

Eh, I could also see this, but I think his options are limited. Fallin is meh. I don't think Martinez would take it. Who does that leave? Haley, Love? Certainly not Palin. That Creek already got shat in. I can see Joni Ernst.

Haley, if she says yes, would be a great GOP VP pick. Not because her policies and beliefs aren't just as conservative as the rest of the GOP but because she can sell so many narratives and is riding high off of all the confederate flag stuff.

Brexit is a mess. First they say that the NHS investment was a total lie and now they're saying that immigration will remain unchanged. So basically the whole thing was a sham.

Haley doesn't like Trump and she doesn't want to toss her future into the toilet by being the Running Mate to a zombie candidate , she is 44, lots of time to let this shitstorm blow over

It seems like there isn't a single net benefit to this thing even for the people who wanted it.

They pretty much just voted to get themselves worse trade deals or at least much less influence on the region's trade overall.

lolol trump dump

Also I don't really remember Biden "destroying" Ryan in the debate. I seem to remember it being pretty split and liberals FREAKING OUT over Obama sleepwalking through the first debate. Hopefully Hillary learned how Romney completely snuck his way to the center in that debate and is prepared for Trump.

Biden completely destroyed Ryan in the debate on substance, but he looked like a hammy, preening asshole by smiling and laughing his way through the whole thing.

Based on the leaked GOP memo, I'm going with Warren.

They don't have a good line of attack on her, and Trump's gaffes in the past month have chased away a lot of Republicans. They will be back in 2020, but for now, they are going to sit this election out.

There only hope is angry Berniebros who are susceptible to Trump's populism, and Warren takes a bite out of that tactic.

I whinny my fervor lowly, for his length is not as great as those of the Hylian war stallions
It'll be Christie and Kaine.

Great season. Where do you think they'll go now?

I read that as Kanye.
No idea why.

If Turdie Sanders is as much of an asshole as we suspect, it may be the best tactic. Might as well go all in with the first women president angle. I don't see that many people going; "Well, if the second in line is also a women, I just can't vote for it" especially when up against Cheeto Jesus.

Btw, i'm hiring a photoshop expert for a small job. Going to try asking in here before making a thread. Need top quality red eye removal for cat eyes that are very dilated. My mom lost her cat last week, and I want to have a picture printed.

Boris Johnson wanted an issue to prove he was legit. Unfortunately got a clusterfuck that destroyed his country. Sad!

I'm still not done. I'm on the 2nd episode, and I was dying.

Selina: Hey I'm gonna be president, so... I'm going to take a shit in the Rose Garden if I want to.

Ben: They used to call that a "Jimmy Carter"

There's some really good stuff coming up. And I'd pay money for a Richard & Jonah spin-off show.

The whole purpose of Biden's debate performance was to energize democrats and say "game on" after Obama slept through the first debate. While some people may have felt Biden was too hammy or whatever, Biden totally recharged the GE for democrats. From all the conversations I had, it was a hugely effective debate performance by Biden.

I'm legit torn on Hillary's VP (completely forgot that she's campaigning with Warren this upcoming week). And I noticed that I forgot to pick Trumpy's running mate.

I'll go with Newt. He carries the promise of fundraising, and Trump seems pretty sensitive on that subject.

“I have been a leader in some things and I’ve been a follower in some things. So I was a lieutenant governor to Mark Warner, I was a Democratic National Committee Chair to President Obama. So when I’ve (been) mayor, governor, or senator, I’ve been the main guy,” Kaine said. “But, you know, whether it’s in my, you know, in my church with the parish council or in other areas, I know how to work on a team.”

He will be a loyal VP.

I'm totally down with some Bernie bros voting for trump.

Get all the white supremacists and Neo-Nazi's. I have enough faith in the country to withstand the scumbags voting for him!

You weren't the target.

Clinton: Kaine (still hoping Perez, but Kaine is the more risk-averse choice)

Trump: Gingrich (will need an ally that at least seems to know what he's talking about, and that's a short list)

I remember Biden's performance as being quite strong. His dismissive tone could have come across badly against the wrong opponent, but it seemed to work in this case. My recollection is also that polls had Biden winning pretty decisively.

I remember that debate being a big morale boost for Democrats after the first debate had gone so badly.

Yes exactly. It was a huge moment. From what I saw, only Fox News carried on about Biden being unpresidential and bullying. Biden stole Ryan's soul that night.

VR gaming seems kind of... pointless? Tried it out at Best Buy today.

This idea looks like it's going to be a big disaster with how expensive these devices are.

I think Warren would be the strongest pick for Clinton. Not that I think it'll make a huge difference for this election but I like Warren from a long term standpoint, in that I think it's the direction the party should be heading. That having been said, I think Clinton goes the safe route.

Clinton: Kaine
Trump: Gingrich

I think Clinton should choose whoever plays best in the Midwest. If she holds PA, WI, and MI and takes FL, she wins. I have no idea who plays better in the Midwest between Kaine, Warren, or Perez, but I'd be focus testing the shit out of that if I were them. I'd hate for the best candidate in that regard to be Sherrod Brown simply because of the Senate seat, but the more I think about it, he probably plays best in the region.

Twitter Socialists love pointless violence so much. Go kill and stab people if a fascist takes control of government, don't stab people that you can crush at the polls.

Brown's seat is too valuable though. There are things Democrats can do (with varying degrees of shadiness) to protect Warren's seat. Just don't run Matha Coakley when the special election rolls around.
I totally agree. I just think as a candidate, he's a better choice. I believe him when he says he doesn't really want it, too. Doesn't seem like his thing. That makes me like him more. "Rejecting the crown" and whatnot. I'm a gullible sucker for that stuff.

On Brown's seat, yes, it's too valuable. Portman appears to be going to win re-election (Strickland cannot get any traction going), so you can't afford to let Kasich appoint Jon Husted or Josh Mandel to that vacancy and give the Dems another seat to try and pick up elsewhere.

So what are you advocating here?

Consistency in the stabbing metrics?

No, it just that Socialist Twitter gets so hyped up by random Nazis getting stabbed and it's like... what does this accomplish? There were 30 people at this rally.

Beating the right with violence is also, uhh, not a good idea since the far right has assault weapons. It should be a last resort or it's pointless at best.

Although his language has softened in rejecting VP speculation, Brown has consistently said he doesn't want the job. I kind of believe him too.

No one says they want the job until they take it.

I feel veepstakes is way too insidery to really guess, other than an educated guess on the most likely 3-4 candidates. Similar to Obama's SCOTUS pick when everyone seemed to think Srinivasan would be it.
