Probably the last big pick up for quite some time as just started building a house but over the weekend I bought this 2011 Kawasaki KX450F. Low hours and in very good condition. Took it for a test ride yesterday, will admit it was tough. It's my first ever Dirt Bike so coming from Road Bikes to the dirt is a big change.


Didn't look right using all my bulky road gear whilst out on the dirt yesterday so today I went and got some new gear.




Jacks was due to the friend I went riding with giving me a taste of the white label stuff over the weekend, thought it was quite nice.

A 450 for your first dirt bike, you're game. Nice bike though.

I'm now starting to feel like my newly-restarted N64 collection is getting to a semi-respectable state - today was a good day!

I won this lot from eBay - all fully boxed, with manuals and in good condition - for £23 delivered, excluding Ocarina of Time. FIFA and Top Gear don't mean a great deal to me, but they came as a single bundle and it's a great price for the other four as it is IMO. Ocarina was a separate purchase, but in near-mint condition so I'm again very pleased.

I would recommend taking the picture in a dark room with the lights off or dimmed to highlight the feature you wish to show.

Taking the picture in a bright room with the flash on is probably the opposite effect you wish to show.

Good thing the DQ games are written in relatively simple Japanese, it has furigana, which means the kanji have hiragana written above it so you don't need to know the kanji, just the vocabulary. Good luck!

Skipped last month post because I didn't buy any games, their physical version at least. So I just dumped all of my previous non-games pick-up now.

Adding more Mieville's book to my personal library. The I just impulsively bought that Moorcock book, I hope it's satisfactory.

Complete volumes of two great manga series: Emma and Pluto. Bought each of them bundled for $10 and $20. Need to remind you that Pluto's price actually 1.5 times of its original price here.

Finally my physical game related pick-up, and a quite big one too. Bought Mario Kart not only because the promotion, but also for great split multiplayer to be played with my friends. That's why I also bought two Wii U Pro Controller (it's smaller that I thought it would be).

Another gaming related pick up: Shin Megami Tensei IV and Nier OST disc from cdjapan. The quality of the track is just like OH GOD when I'm hear them for the first time. It seems true that OST release in Japan always have new arrangement that their in-game counterpart.
Also to accompany them, I bought a new pair of earphone since my last one have been broken by my sister.

Five volumes of Giga Tokyo Toy Box, a manga series on video game developer. Dis gon b gud

Last, volume 2,3,4 of Tonari no Seki-kun and the last volume of Kenji.

Thanks! Exactly why I got DQ and a few other games made with kids in mind. I probably won't get serious about it until after summer, but I had to get this XL before it gets relatively rare.

I am loving it haha. Speaking of insurance they put this GTI under Golf considering they call the car the Golf GTI now so my insurance took a nose dive lol. I wonder if they will change that later but it went down a pretty nice amount.
