Put a few more hours into coop. So much fun :D Murphy levels are so much better with coop (although I enjoyed them anyway). Recommend giving it a try if you can.

Any UKers order from Amazon? I put an order in two or three days ago, hasn't dispatched yet. I'm not too bothered because it's actually very cheap (like 26 quid for the 360 version) but it's pretty unusual for them to miss a dispatch date in my experience. Looks like they might have run out of stock and are getting more in today (the 31st) which is a good sign, right?

Actually had a similar experience with Payday 2 although they probably only stocked about 10 copies of that game.

Did play the demo on PC though, it's fucking rad. Hope those musical levels are as entertaining as WOOOOOOAHBLACKBETTY.

Boo! Was hoping it might be a case of Amazon not updating the item's status... but I'm not hopeful.

Enjoy anyway, my man! The more people that play these games the better. Origins is one of my favourite games of all time (probably a daft opinion but I loved it so much) so I think I will like this.

Does anyone here have a 75/85 hz monitor and/or a 4:3 or 16:10 monitor?
Origins was locked to 60 hz and if you tried to play it in anything but 16:9 resolutions it would cut off part of the frame (so you wouldn't be able to see everything you're supposed to ingame)

It's ubisoft so I'm expecting another lazy port :\

Can't help you with the 4:3 and 16:10 questions, but Legends is definitley locked to 60hz.

Had to go with the Wii U version after I heard the PS Vita had lost some levels, something or other. Oh well..

Huh? I thought the Vita was the one with extra levels

Was this the reason for the delay? Must admit I was concerned when I found out the Vita port was being handled by a different group

Comparing the console/PC version in total lums which is: 700, the Vita version only has 615. I'm not sure what levels are gone, but it's a shame...I own Origins on the Vita and its fantastic

Only in about 35-40%-ish of levels. The rest has to be a second normal character.

The difficulty is similar to Luigi U, I'd say. The first worlds are harder than Origin's but then it plateaus and never really picks up the slack until the very end, with
the Dark Rayman invasion levels and the 8-bit musical levels.
The last of which, by the way, is completely insane. I'm not sure it'd playable on Vita or Off-TV Play lol.

You can be Murphy in every level. Once a second player joins in, the first player can touch the murphy sign to switch to murphy

We still need clarification on that. We don't know what's going on for sure because we haven't heard any missing levels being brought up.

Hopefully this is answered soon. I am ready to preorder but will need to know we aren't getting shorted content. Also, is it really delayed on Vita (NA)? Amazon still says the 3rd.

Sounds like a bunch of levels were cut and some of them were replaced? With 85 less teensies, sounds like at least ten missing levels

Ubisoft can suck a bag of dicks if that is true. What a fuckin scam if there are levels missing and they haven't told that fuckin ANYWHERE and act all cool when talking about the bonus levels.

Seriously fuck them and fuck the developers too if this is true and they don't come out and say it before release.

Started playing this morning, still in the first world.

I actually quite enjoy the Murfy stuff when it's moving at a decent clip, like the Dungeon Dash stage. Keeping Globox running through the stage is a lot of fun. The problem is the other areas where he just ambles along like he has zero fucks to give. I imagine that would be alleviated in co-op with another player instead of the AI, though.

Just looked at some of the trailers. Wii U E3 Trailer says ''Over 120 levels''. Vita trailer says ''90 levels''. Am I supposed to think Vita version is missing over 30 levels? Is it so hard to be clearer of the fuckin content in your game?

I totally change my tone over the Vita version: nobody buy that crap before we know what is going on.

I made a comment on the Ubisoft blog saying "Some of us are a little confused about the Vita version of Legends. I noticed in a video of the Vita version that it only had a total of 615 lums to collect, whereas the console/PC versions had 700. This is odd, because we were led to believe that, not only did the Vita version have all of the levels the other versions did, but even had five EXCLUSIVE levels. I would be really grateful if we could get clarification on this issue. Thank you." Gary on the blog is usually pretty good about replying so hopefully he does soon.

i think the Vita version is missing the invaded levels.

I'm starting to think that that's the case, too, but we'll see. I hope not, because I'm excited for those. Out of curiosity, do you reason to believe that it doesn't have those?

Love it.

OF COURSE a person on the internet thinks they can do better than the "doofuses" who created a 90+ Metacritic game with unfamiliar tools.

Yeah, it's not like I spent over 300 hours in the undocumented -devmode when Super Meat Boy came out tossing around ideas and creating speedrun levels in Super Meat Boy with RyokoTK and NovaSilisko. It's not like you'd know anything about that....

And please don't quote me a metacritic score to qualify a point. It makes you sound obtuse and ultimately uninformed about developing levels/chapters using the games' assets.

i'm pretty sure the invaded levels opened up for me when completing the first level.

looking at this video of the vita version he completes the second level and they don't appear.

Man, now it's definitely getting worrying.

Prob going to get the PS3 version then. Hopefully if this is true we can get confirmation before launch so people don't get screwed over.

Now here's the same part on both the console version and the Vita version. Both had just completed the Creepy Castle level. You'll see that neither has the Invaded level.

HOWEVER, that being said, the paintings are closer together on the Vita version, which does make me think it doesn't have them because the invaded levels go in between the paintings.

Even if it doesn't have the Invaded levels, it will still have more content than Origins. It will be majorly disappointing, and I hope it's not the case, but it's not the end of the world.

It doesn't matter how great the game is, I could never buy a game that is so severly gimped especially when Ubisoft is seemingly doing a friggin robbery with this. They never have talked about Vita version missing anything and if I were to support the game it sure as hell won't be the Vita version no matter how much I wanted to get that one before.

I mean if they have a good fuckin reason for the missing content then just fuckin say it. No space on the gamecart or what fuckin ever. Don't hide it.

That's fine. Nobody is forcing you to buy it. If it's missing some of the game by not having 30 bonus stages that are 40-60 seconds long, I'm still going to get it., because I'm paying 1/3rd less than the other versions. Not happy about it by any means, but I'm still going to get it and absolutely LOVE it. The price to content ratio will still be larger on Vita than consoles.

It just hurts cause the Vita version was the obvious choise for me before. But no matter how insignificant the content missing is it would always be nagging me. If I buy the game I can throw another tenner to get the ''full package'' even if the PS3 version misses a few touch levels.

It's annoying, I know. But I'm paying $20 less, getting the Murfy stages as they were intended to be played, and having the portability, OLED, and glorious dpad that the Vita offers.

WTF at the Vita version missing levels? Ubisoft: “Hey guys! The Vita version has 5 exclusive levels!
But we also secretly got rid of 10.”
Derp! : /

I’ll wait for a confirmation, but at the moment I’m now leaning towards the PS3 version. So annoying considering Origins on the Vita was perfect.

I just cancelled my Vita preorder. It hurts, I bought Origins on PS3 and Vita, and I loved it both times I played it to 100%. The issue isn't even really the missing content for me, it's how disingenuous UbiSoft is being about the entire thing. Just come out and say the content is different, but, to me, this stinks like them hoping to get a bunch of sales out of the gate, before people realize the difference. And I just can't support that.

Works fine on my 16:10 screen

The Vita version indeed is missing the Invaded bonus stages. Disappointing and odd. All of the other content is there - even Kung Foot. This was confirmed by www.psvitahub.com. I want to figure out why this happened because it honestly doesn't make sense.

Thanks for looking into it so thoroughly. I THINK I'll still get the Vita version, too. We get online multiplayer there, right?

Not sure about the online multiplayer thing. Seems to be a local thing that just goes through WiFi (which seems odd since it also included an option for ad-hoc local. Seems redundant).

I'm still getting the Vita version because it's $20 cheaper and I LOVED playing Origins on Vita. What I'm hoping will be the case is that they just ran out of time and they are working on getting the invaded stages in there for a patch of the game. Who knows. Seems somewhat plausible. If they were running out of time (it was an external dev doing the Vita port), the bonus stages seem to be the most obvious to go. Just hoping it will still come.

I agree. I'm also eagerly anticipating the Vita version. Apparently in NA, it should be in on Tuesday. My pal at Gamestop mentioned on Weds it was in transit. I'm keeping my preorder, keeping continuity with Origins on Vita ^_^

Even with missing content (brief speed run stuff), its still a content rich package and as you (VanWinkle) stated: 1/3 (33%) less in cost. Not to mention, fully portable.

Maybe they can patch the levels in later, or as DLC. Apparently the game already has a Vita patch:

Its kind of funny you're giving out tips on how to make posts when yours make you come off as more than a bit of an ass. You dont have to insult the people who made the game and act like you're superior to everyone in order to critique it.

Thats a protip i learned from spending over 300 hours in real life.
