I just got back from EB Games. I purchased Fight Round 3 for PS3 and it looks a bit better than the Xbox 360 rendition. I also got Ridge Racer 7. Prety good, though I like Motorstorm more. Tommorow I'm going to trade in my DS Lite for a PSP and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

Why are some of you buying films in both formats, HD-DVD and Blu Ray?

Woudln't it make more sense to stick to one format, probally the one that won't go down the pan after a year or so.

Why are some of you buying films in both formats, HD-DVD and Blu Ray?

Woudln't it make more sense to stick to one format, probally the one that won't go down the pan after a year or so.

I support both, and neither will go down the pan IMO. This isn't betamax vs VHS. In fact, HD-DVD and blu-ray is such a small niche market compared to standard DVD's, that you wouldn't be able to declare a winner for at least another 5 years. DVD's will still be selling strong to the average consumer for a long time to come.
