Rage was $10 on Amazon so decided to grab it. Also needed some new headphones so I got the cheaper Sony XB300's. They sound pretty good and have really nice base to them.

I picked up the Sony XB700 (used, like new) and the bass is not that great tbh. I don't know if the model is defective or need a amp to drive the headphones. Only using my laptop and Turtle Beach Ear Force DSS for audio sources right now. But I'm kind of disappointed of the lack of bass on them. Soundstage is good but idk.

I use Final Cut Pro and it's night and day. The render times have been cut drastically from my 4GB days.

I watch the task monitor constantly when using strenuous programs, and it definitely helps when I want to leave it going in the background and do something else in the meantime.

Top tip: Don't install Rage on your 360, it actually loads textures etc. faster without. Great game!

Various toys and promotional games. Got the One Piece P.O.P. Perona and Amagami SS Nendoroid Aoi delivered from Hobby Japan this morning.

Picked up the Starscream Ghost version Masterpiece on clearance from Toys R Us for $40 (down from $280!) and grabbed some Lego Minifigs whilst waiting in the checkout.

I've been sleeping in the same double bed for half my life so I lashed out on an early 30th birthday present to myself and got a new king size bed, mattress, and matching bedside tables - all solid oak with brushed metal.

Just about to go try it out and get an awesome nights rest. More likely though I'll probably cry myself to sleep, clutching my now very thin wallet.

Thanks, I got the recommendation from members on here. I was shooting with a thrift store find Canon EF 28-80mm and had sold my stock lens as I wasn't needing it or using it. The lowlight stuff was maddening with the thrift store lens even though I got some really nice pics out of it. This thing is beautiful and shoots some amazing pics. It's also amazing how much heft a better built lens has and the build quality doesn't feel like a toy.

-PS1 - Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain - I've always wanted this game and although $6.99 was a bit more than I wanted to pay, it's in like-new condition so I picked it up.
-PS1 - Tomb Raider 1-4 - $1.99 each @ Goodwill, all complete and in great shape! I'm pretty hyped about the new game and I only had the first game on Saturn so I scooped these up.

-Kid Icarus Guidebook - $9.99 @ Best Buy this week and comes w/an exclusive AR card! I've already finished the story mode but it will be useful for finding secrets and such.
-Pokemon Black & White CE Guidebook - Last copy and only a penny @ Best Buy!


Plus Goodwill had all books 25% off today and I made out like a bandit:

-Gregory Maguire Hardcovers - I already had paperbacks of 2 of em, but all 3 are First Editions and at ~$1.34 each I had to get them! They also had Son of a Witch and Lost but the former was missing the slipcover and the latter had coffee stains so I left them behind. :S

-The Far Side Collections (x7) - My family had most of these when I was a kid but they were left behind in a move. Got em all for ~$0.44 each!

-Calvin & Hobbes Collections (X9) - All ~$0.44 each! I saw one other C&H book but the cover was peeling apart so I left it behind.
