I bought a lot more in October. Still working my way through that stack.

Not at home - so i can't get any pictures right now, but:

Final Fantasy XII - Collectors Edition: My first FF game in a while... hell my first RPG in quite a while. Lord knows when I'll have time to play through it all... maybe that's why I don't play many RPGs these days.

Gears of War: Lived up to the hype... Epic has more than made up for the disappointment of UT2003.

Xbox 360 HD-DVD Drive: I'm quite happy with this one. I was firmly in the blu-ray camp, and while I still think it'll be hard to hold it back unless PS3 bombs, I'm impressed with the quality I'm seeing with my HD-DVDs. This is at least managing to hold me over until the PS3 gets games to make it worth buying (*cough*VF5*cough*).

However... it's off to visit family for Thanksgiving. So, looks like I'll be pulling out my PSP and my copy of Tekken: DR instead of playing with my new toys for the next four days. That's not a bad consolation prize, though.

As for the white DVD case, check your local Target stores as they are giving out an Activision Wii DVD that has trailers for Tony Hawk and some other game. That's where I got the extra cases from. They're free... or if they are anal, they'll charge .01...

Oh, I wasn't talking about the money aspect. I'm just wondering where they find the time to really enjoy all of those titles.

well, yeah - i buy way too many games , and a lot won't get played until we get breaks from work, but in that time what'll usually happen is me and the wife will rifle through all the games briefly, then go back to the best ones.

so out of the list for november, play time wise its :

Mahjong Fight club - got royally owned several times!
RR7 - 4th set of tracks
Resistance - nearly done
Gears of war - completed single player, completed coop, started hardcore
Elite Beat Angels - last stage of cheerleader
Gyakuten Saiban 2 - case 4
MOH:Heroes - nearly completed.



It's crass, but i really don't trust reviews, given we both make a decent income, we can pick up anything we have even the slightest interest in and find out for ourselves.

I guess really i should just be throwing more and more thoughts up on the board or onto Game-science, but i'm afflicted by astonishingly lazy, although i'd argue that i've been throwing as much effort as i could in putting up PS3 stuff and general Resistance whorage!

Also ordered a Sony 46 Inch XBR2 LCD TV. 1080P ready. Should be here on Thursday.
