So I mistakenly ruined mine when trying to swap out the parts a couple of years back. Was pretty bummed out as you can imagine, you can't find these controllers really by themselves and I adore my MGS PS3. Fuck I paid probably about $680 or so off of the Konami Store back in '08!

Well, looks like someone was selling one that was more or less mint on eBay for $150. Made a best offer for $99 and won!

So happy (^___^)

You think that is bad luck. A few years back I dropped a 100 watt lightbulb and it landed right on the back of my upside-down MGS Dualshock, which was on the ground. Scratched up the back as the bulb exploded on it. Rotten luck! I eventually donated the whole 40GB MGS PS3, with slightly scratched controller, to my brother anyways. He still uses it as his Hulu and Amazon Prime player to this day.

These are the most comfortable headphones (Sony MDR-XB500s) I've ever worn. I primarily use MDR-V6s, but I bought these specifically for listening at home and wearing for longer periods of time. They feel like two pillows on my head, and the cushions fit my ears perfectly. Not as great sound-quality-wise as the V6s, but the bass is excellent and I'm far from an audiophile anyway.

I'm wearing the MDR-XB700 right now and loving it. Enjoy them!

I was at a buddies house the other day and saw his empty Wii-U tablet stand sitting there. It looked like my PSP would fit perfectly in it.....and it did!

I picked up 2 3rd party ones on eBay and botht the PSP-3000 and 3DSXL fit perfectly!!!

5$ Shipped on eBay!

My recent pickups:

Japanese Club Nintendo goodies (three pouches and an 18 Gamecard case) and Paper Mario Super Seal for my 3DS

Close up on the message on the pouch:

Any chance you have one of the American reversible pouches to do a side by side comparison with these? Mine has moved to my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and now I need something for my 3DS. I got the blue one and my girl got the red one from the American club Nintendo catalog. Was just wondering if this one is the same size.

My favourite cola drink bar none.

Cherry Pepsi is not easy to come by in the UK, I got that from a specialist sweet shop. The stuff in the bag is cream soda. Yummy.

When does mondo usually put new posters up? I always keep forgetting to check their website. I would have loved to get that jurrasic park poster.

Get on the Mondo mailing list. They let you know a day in advance when something is coming out. Then you have to watch their twitter feed and be ready to act because some prints seem to sell out in 60 seconds.

Nice. I really wanted to get my hands on the OG Max and 90 that was released at the start of January, but it was hard to find in local stores.

Yea these went quick, I wasn't taking a chance since I miss the last retro's

I've got the XB700's and they are my favorite headphones. Very comfortable and used to death. I'm hoping to upgrade to the XB1000 which are larger but a dat price tag.

Fire Emblem for 3DS. Went with the digital copy since I've already got a few full digital games on there. Good month for 3DS owners with this and Etrian.

Wait, Totoro and Howl's Moving Castle are on blu-ray in UK? Importing asap, Disney takes too damn long to release them in the US.

They are both Region B locked, but yeah been out a while.

I've got Whisper of the Heart and Laputa: Castle In The Sky on the way too.

Where did you get them framed at? That's an absurdly high price for basic frames.

Well, looks like he made an attempt at preservation, given the sigs and stuff. $750 is really not that bad for a custom large size, UV and acid protection, and a non-destroying type of mounting. $1500, and he has two gorgeous pieces to proudly hang in his living space.

The wood itself is some high quality one or atleast the more expensive of the two options presented. The acrylic was the highest grade they offered, it's not glass due to the size and weight.

The framers presented a full breakdown when they gave me the price. That said, could they be ripping me off? Sure they could. When I initially got the posters I took it to a different framer and the other framer flat out said they couldn't frame the posters due to the size and said if I took it someplace else it would run $500(and that was probably without the preservation UV protective acrylic). However again it is possible I could have gotten it cheaper somewhere else I fully admit, as I'm not that familiar with custom framing pricing.

Not in living space. It's in my study/office. I have to order a desk in the next couple of months actually. My understanding is that the price got so absurd is because of just how brutally large they are.

The damn things are enormous, here's a better picture in regards to scale. The first couple didn't do it justice.

Ah, I didn't realize how large they were. Not sure why it didn't register for me when I originally read your post. For some reason I thought thought they were a lot smaller. Pretty awesome posters dude!

This post reminded me that Spirted Away still isn't out on Bluray yet. Goddamnit.

Thanks, it was a perfectly valid question. I had a bit of sticker shock too when the framer told me the price.

My new Virtual Boy came today. Came with Mario Tennis and Golf for $80. I have more VB games coming soon. Didn't come with power adapter, but luckily the SNES cable can work with it. So I just need to find another SNES power adapter so I don't need to share my current SNES's one.
