Some more MVS carts came in the mail. Blazing Star and Metal Slug X. Both have replacement labels, but boards and cases are legit. Got a great deal on them ($50 each)

Recently sold my headphones to cover expenses, but have begun to work my way back up the ladder. Grabbed a pair of Koss Pro DJ 100's and a pair of WE 408 tubes. I've owned the Pro DJ 100's before, so I knew they bested other headphones in their price range, but hearing them again, they easily sound better than $150+ headphones.
Got the tubes because my old 6JIs were making tons of noise. They had been making noise for several years, in fact, so I was long overdue!

Isn't Gurren Lagann like 600 dollars? Prices be crazy. I love that show but seriously can't they just make a barebones collection for a reasonable price.

$1300 from Amazon. It's really weird that no major retailer in US carries this amazing camera. Even on Amazon it was sold through 3rd party stores.

Got tired of waiting for a EU/US announcement that will never come, so.

You did good. You and I are cut from the same cloth, incidentally - I had SHORT PEACE arrive last week from Japan, so what happens? Announced for EU/US this week. I bought Yakuza 5 on release though, still yet to see it announced elsewhere... so it's not a dead cert every time, sadly.
Hehe, the last time this happened to me was with Sayonara Umihara Kawase.
Bought the game the week it came out even though I still don't have a Japanese 3DS.
But getting it released in Europe or the US was a statistical impossibility looking at the past of the series, so I jumped in without a second thought.
Not much later the rumblings began of it getting a US shop release and probably a EU one as well.
Still, I don't regret anything.

It's been an exceptionally busy month. I traveled for work three weeks in a row, it was my birthday, I signed a lease on a new apartment, and loaded up on the furniture I could find on the weekends.
So, first off - whole new apartment. Just moved in on Saturday!
Bedding is all new - was a gift from my mother; even has a fancy down comforter. I have a red desk in the mail; didn't get delivered because of the weather.
The entertainment shelf is new:
The coffee table is new, and the sofa is new:
The shelves are new, and the chairs are new:
I decided I don't need cable - I live on Hulu and Netflix, so I could save a bit. Just got U-Verse Internet (24/3) installed a few hours ago, and picked up a digital antannae for locals. Also got a new router - but the installer was pretty cool and took and extra 20 minutes to wire ethernet to both my family room and bedroom, so I think I might return it.
Got some new shoes - the Strands are a bit *too* dressy for my tastes, but they're growing on me and I needed a dress-up pair.
This is kind of cheating, but never was able to post the games I got for Christmas:
I was working this week in Arizona, and instead of coming home on Friday, my girlfriend flew in Thursday night and we were able to spend a wonderful weekend together hiking, shopping, relaxing, and enjoying the sites. And because it was my birthday, she got me a framed picture of us, a beautiful Brooks Brothers tie and some new socks and a bunch of local chocolate. Only have pics of the latter:
We had a wonderful time, and it was a nice distraction from work. Got one of her friends to have flowers waiting for her when she got home.
... And finally, I *just* purchased three tickets to Chicago for my sister's 21st birthday. She wanted to just go somewhere, and this is what I could get with my SW Points.

A Kmart in Charlotte is closing and was having a clearance sale. All of these games were $4.99 but were 20% off, so I got them for 3 bucks and some change each.

Book III has XIII stuff. No XIII-2 or LR.
